Take cycling of road an onto the River Lagan and explore Belfast's historic River Lagan onboard our Hydrobikes. This is the only experience on the River Lagan.
This is a unique way for visitors to see Belfast and the its historic Waterfront, Harland and Wolf cranes, Obel Tower, historic bridges, canal structure and much more. Hydrobiking is a fun safe activity which allows visitors to explore the River Lagan without getting wet. So you are free to head out into Belfast or other attractions after.
Hydrobikes provide a gentle, low-impact aerobic total body workout; but it all depends on how fast you pedal. Take a Hydrobike out for a leisurely ride, a fast cardio workout, photography session, or fishing.
Our hydrobikes are a perfect way to experience water sports. Hydrobikes are super dog friendly, and your furry friend will love the ride as much as you will.

The experience was great! It's not for the weak bodied! Pedaling the hydrobikes is a major workout!!!
Joe takes care of you well! If you come with your littles, he takes care of them too! Joe noticed I was struggling with the weight of my wee girl on the bike and offered to take her on the boat! Needless to say my girl was very happy with that!
My boy got tired of pedaling and he got tugged back to shore! Thank you Joe for a wonderful experience!

The operators were super nice, friendly, and accommodating. I let them know I could only go to a certain time instead of the full hour and they adjusted the route for me. I even finished it early. They called a taxi for me. There was some great views for pictures of the statue, clock, and the beautiful green hills in the distance. I took all the photos while on the bike and not once worried about my phone falling. The guide stayed with me the whole time far enough behind but also close enough to let me know when I needed to turn around. Great time spent in the river. Definitely a good workout. Loved it!

Our party ranged in age from 9 to 50s and all had a great time on the hydrobikes. I had wanted to try the bikes for a while and persuaded my sister and family to join me when they were over from Australia. A fun, enjoyable experience and you see a different side to Belfast. A great addition to Belfast activities. Have a go!

Outstanding experience start to finish. Very responsive in communication between booking and the experience. Good directions/ clear information!
The staff were friendly/relaxed but very professional at all times!!
The hydro bikes were so much fun and really easy to use. Safety was paramount to all and as a local to Belfast I will recommend to everyone who visits or has an hour to spare!!! Fantastic!!!

The bikes are so much fun, they’re very stable and easy to operate.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, explaining everything before we set out on the river and also following behind in a small boat in case any difficulties arose.
Highly recommended, I’d love to see these in more towns and cities ☺️

We booked a session on the bikes this afternoon. What an experience!
It was probably one of the most fun but also the most bizarre things I have done. Who would think to put a bike on the river?
The team were brilliant and even let my parents come out for a ride on the safety boat so they could come along with us.
My son flagged a bit so we got a tow. It is hard work so if you have a younger child, go tandem….if you can cope with the shame of the tow 😂 my elder child who is 14 managed really well and you can go at your own pace so don’t be put off.
I’m gutted we didn’t notice the night light up session!!! That will be a must for our next trip.
I would say this is defiantly something not to be missed, for the wonderful staff and service and the experience itself.
We will be back!!!!

Brilliant evening! Our group was aged 16 -78. and the bikes were a hit for all of us. The staff were awesome, super friendly, helpful and generally great craic. There were other customers there at the same time who presented a challenge to the staff but it was handled so calmly and professionally and didn't impact on our enjoyment at all. We will most certainly be back!

What an amazing experience had a great time on the river with my 13 year old son today. Thought he would leave me behind but managed to keep up. Clear instruction before we left and calmed our nerves. Nerves soon forgotten when you are on the water as much fun to be had. Highly recommend.
