WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHAT TO EXPECT

Cappadocia Balloon Tour is scheduled to start early in the morning, ideally before the sunrise. A modern and comfortable vehicle will be waiting to pick you up from your hotel. The driver will drive you towards the location where the balloon’s departure point is. For your comfort and safety you are advised to wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes. In addition, depending on the weather conditions, you might need a hat or sunglasses.
2. Goreme National Park
During your arrival at the balloon station you will get to know your pilots and instructors. By that time they will prepare the balloon by filling it with hot air. It is an excellent opportunity for you to take some really interesting pictures of the procedure. In accordance, the instructors will discuss and describe to you the basic rules that apply in the balloon ride. Safety procedures will also be explained, so there is nothing to worry about. The balloon is approved by the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority and meets all the safety requirements. The balloon’s basket has a capacity of 4 to 28 people. By the end of the briefing, pilots and instructors will decide, depending on the weather and wind position, the route that the balloon will follow.
3. Cappadocia
Once you enter into the large balloon’s basket, pilots will start the takeoff procedure. The balloon will gradually reach the maximum altitude of 1000 feet above the ground. Get ready to set your mind free and experience a once in a lifetime experience. At that point you will enjoy a spectacular sunrise that creates a magical background with spectacular colors. Just below you, the fairy chimneys and the rock formations will be reflecting the shades of the sun. This unique landscape that will be full of colors will create a unique landscape like a fairy tale. Take a chance to snap some breath taking photos and film unique videos as the sun rises and make sure that you admire and appreciate the natural setting.
4. Goreme National Park
Once the one hour ride is over, the balloon will start the landing procedure. By the moment you reach the ground you will be really proud of your participation in such experience. Full with positive emotions and images you will disembark from the balloon’s basket. Right after landing, it is time to celebrate your experience and your achievement. A small celebration follows that is a kind of balloon tradition. Our team members will prepare a small ceremony with champagne toasts for the participants. 5. Goreme
When the celebration is over, a comfortable and modern vehicle will be waiting for you. Our team members will drive you from the Hot Air Balloon station towards your hotel. Your arrival at your hotel is scheduled during the morning, just in time for your breakfast, leaving you the rest of the day free for sightseeing or to relax. FANTASTIC. The pickup was almost on time (20 minutes late which is nothing in Turkey;)). The flight was A M A Z I N G. Our pilot was the best, he would fly clode to the chimneys and at the end landed the balloon basket on the trailer!!!!! World class performance. Highly, highly Recommended

This trip was canceled. We did not take this flight. I received an email from our tour guy yesterday that the flight was canceled and that would be getting a refund, but this trip is still showing up in the app and asking for a review..

Our hot air balloon experience was amazing!! The pick up was right on time, the pilots and the crew were excellent, the champagne 🍾 and the added certificate as well as the provided backpack with snacks and drinks were a very nice touch! We will definitely recommend and will tell all our friends to book with Sky Way Balloons! Totally a great time!

This was the highlight of our trip to Turkey! Timely pick up at our hotel. Excellent job by our pilot and his crew! Absolutely amazing flight! Views were incredible!! Great landing and nice touch afterwards with champagne and flight certificate!! Highly recommend this excursion!!!

Such an amazing experience. We had a fun and professional pilot. However the driver seemed to get lost and we went into 4 different entrances to the balloons and realised it was the wrong balloon he had driven us to but we got there in the end. Luckily it was a cloudy day so missing the sunrise didn't make much difference.

After two days of cancellation due to strong wind condition, we managed to ride the hot air balloon on the third day (April 19)

Apparently, this kind of activity is being regulated by Civil Aviation and would be allowed only if the wind speed is less than 3 knots.

It was a magical experience flying over fairy chimneys at Goreme for one hour!
