You will walk together with your local food-expert guide and treated with local cheeses, spices, herbs, olive oil, sweets and much more local products of Greece. You will visit several food spots, learn about local products, and taste a variety of traditional edible specialties around Thessaloniki’s food market, delis and cafes.
A table with shared food dishes (mezes = Greek tapas) is what culinary culture had always been for us. Food is the way to meet and have intense moments. So, we’ll also visit a small Greek bistrot restaurant to enjoy meze dishes and raki drink!

Very enjoyable walk! The host was friendly, got us connected with the food heritage of the place, and we had amazing greek traditional food!

Hara did an amazing job with the tour. It felt like we were just meeting a friend who lives in Thessaloniki. The food was excellent, and the Storytelling was top-notch. She knew the city's history and could put all of the food in context. I also really appreciated that even when we were taken to shops to see the different kinds of wares and try things, there wasn’t any uncomfortable pressure to buy something from that store. Highly recommended!
