Wonderful guide Elena, she talks about everything very interestingly, including local news, since she is local. There were four of us, two young couples, and we were allowed to take a small dog. We had a wonderful time, saw the cave, the potters' town, the lake, and Rethymno. We swam in the lake and had lunch at the tavern.

We were lucky and had this as a private tour. Katarine was a friendly guide with a extensive knowledge about Crete, the history and traditions. We had a great day with a lot of variety between city and nature. We loved exploring this island!

Julia, good evening! We visited two excursions from your Ivan Susanin). We were very tired, since we traveled for two days in a row, but this is pleasant fatigue!!! Thank you very much for an unforgettable experience! Another special thank you to the guide Elena - she told the history of the Ancient World so interestingly that it was impossible to get distracted so as not to miss anything! Wow!! We were hesitant to book this because of the cost but so glad we did. Salanas (sp?) was so knowledgeable about Crete and the places we went. The tour lasted from 9a-6p and we definitely saw so much of the island that would wouldn’t have seen without her. She guided us but allowed us to walk the villages independently and shop around. Book with them now!!

The tour was very interesting and overall I had a nice day out.
The tour meant to be for few people but it turned out to be a private one with myself only which was fantastic.
The only thing to mention is that I have been asked to pay for entry to the Melidoni Cave which originally the entry free was included in price.
I would recommend this tour to everyone who wants to enjoy day out.

Lidie from Cherry Travel helped us plan 2 wonderful adventures while on Crete. First we did a tour of the western part of the island. This included Chania, Lake Kournos and Rethymno. Then we did a day trip to Santorini (Oia and Fira) including a visit to the volcano and the hotsprings. So much beauty! I highly recommend booking with Cherry Travel and Lidie.
