such a great time on this tour! Martin did a fantastic job. He was very knowledgeable, but also made the trip fun. I started not to feel well, but his boss & him made sure I was okay & made me feel safe. We swam with the turtles early so we could have a better chance & it worked, as I seen quite a few. Next was tulum & it wasn't crowded at all as it was a little later in the afternoon. Overall a super great time & I would definitely ask for martin to be your tour guide!

We booked on the Tulum ruins and cenotes tour provided by Coba Sunset Tours. Having visited Mexico before and Tulum ruins in particular, we were fully aware of the significantly high temperatures at the site and lack of shade, so had repeatedly confirmed with the tour provider and had also been given their brochure, to confirm that the Tulum ruin visit would take place in the morning to avoid the heat of the day as we were taking a child and the cenotes visit would occur in the heat of the day so that we could all cool down. We were very disappointed that the tour did not in fact take place as advertised. We found the guide wholly unsympathetic and more interested in providing an ATV trip to two members of the party and getting us to the gift shop at Tulum instead of serving the agreed itinerary and needs of the majority. As a result we arrived at the ruins at midday. It was unsafe to take children around the ruin in this heat and therefore could not join the tour. A huge disappointment.
Sadly the guide's behaviour fell way below any professional standard: having presumed that us "stupid gringos", her words, don't understand Spanish, she then proceeded to ridicule to her colleagues our discomfort unnecessarily. We would advise that the tour company looks at the logistics of it's service provision and the adequate training and supervision of it's guides.

Our family embarked on an a 6hr adventure with Abhiel and Mattias who picked us up at the Velas Zen Resort as a private tour for 6 of us. As we drove to Tulúm, Abhiel taught us about Mayan history, customs and what to expect with great humor and interaction for all of us. We stopped to pick up Mayan souvenirs and had them blessed by a shaman in a ritual then off to hike through th amazing Mayan ruins and learn about their daily life. Next we were off to Cenotes where we hiked through undeground caves then jumped off a cliff in to an open Cenote. We drove again to the beach where we snorkeled with giant sea turtles and some baby ones as well as Stingrays and other reef fishes. Our guide Francisco swam us around knowing everything we could ask and where to see the best turtles. On our return, Abhiel brought us into the Tulum village for a real local treat at an amazing taqueria where we had delicious local food before arriving back from a perfect day! We all loved it and can’t say enough about our guide and driver as well as all the friendly people we met in our journey.

We just got back from cancun and I highly recommend this tour. Enrique was our tour guide and he was awesome! He was very thorough and knowledgeable about the Mayan ruins and gave us a great tour… he picked a great place for us to eat as well! Amazing tour!

Enrique did an amazing job with our tour! If you do it definitely request him as your guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and created a great atmosphere for my husband and I along with the rest of our group! 10/10 experience

We had a great experience with our guide Enrique. He was a really cool guy and knew a lot of interesting facts about the Mayans that lived in the ruins we visited. Definitely recommend a tour with him.

Great private experience with Fernando and Rigo exploring the ruins of Tulum and snorkeling with the sea turtles. The two gentleman picked us up from our resort in a timely fashion. We first stopped and experienced an ancient Mayan ritual. Then we stopped and were given a tour by Fernando of Tulum. We were given some free time to explore the ruins before returning to our meeting point. Shopping time was allotted followed by time for lunch with good recommendations from Fernando on a spot. We then travelled to the snorkeling spot. We had a great guide and were able to see many turtles, starfish, and even a stingray. Rigo provided safe transportation and ensured our belongings were well watched over. We would definitely use Coba Sunset again for another excursion.

We had a great experience with Coba Sunset and our guide Marco Z. We travel on average 4 international trips a year. We take guided tours on each one.
Marco Z. ensured we were well informed of our plans for the day. He spent the day teaching us all things Mayan. He tools us to the best place to eat in Tulum. It was our favorite meal of our entire trip.
If I could give over 5 stars I definitely would. We highly recommend Cabo Sunset for tours and request Marco Z. You will not be disappointed.

Extremely disappointed with this service. We were told the express was direct to Tulum. Pickup from our hotel was 7:45 and we would be back by 12:45. The driver tried to force us to stop to visit a Mayan family even though the tour says nothing about this and nobody on the van wanted to stop. After 2 hours and still an hour away from Tulum, we left the tour at the third hotel stop and took a taxi. Horribly misleading.
