Highly recommended. Professional tours run by friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable guides with modern, well maintained bikes. The cycling may be a bit tricky for inexperienced cyclists in some areas due to the fine gravel, but the guides are very patient. Give yourself 3 hours in total and bring layers as it's cold on top!

We had a great experience with Into Etna, going up the Etna, on mountainbikes.
Carmelo - our wonderful guide- took us. First he checkt how we were doing on the bikes. He was careful and made sure everthing was okay.
We had amazing views and were away from the crowd (which we really liked!!!) Carmelo could tell us a lot about the Etna's history and geology. Very interesting. He took some great pictures and video's of us.
The e-mountainbikes were great quality and easy in use.

It was a great experience! I wanted to visit Etna with mountain bikes. unfortunately the group with the guides had just left before me and it was no longer possible to go at the moment. Everyone who works there did their best to see if they could arrange something. a guide returned earlier and this turned out to be Raffaela. After waiting for a while and there were currently no registrations for mountain biking, there seemed a good chance that the party would not go ahead for me. In the end I was the lucky one because I was offered a 1 on 1 tour by Raffaela. This was perfect, she really knows everything and shares this in a very nice and passionate way. You will learn everything about the volcanoes and their history, but also everything that goes with them, such as the soap flowers that grow there and the city of cyclopes. All in all this is an experience you will cherish for the rest of your life! And thanks to Raffaela, this tour became priceless!

The most friendly guides I’ve ever met! 100% worth it. For all people that can cycle, this is a must! They take care over you and are very patient. E.g. my girlfriend goes quicker uphill than down hill. Down in Catania they should have heard her.. We spend a large part of the afternoon on Mama. Raffaela explained everything really well and knows a lot about the region. Please do not skip this experience!

Having never used a bike in the mountains, I was a little scared at the idea of even climbing a volcano! However, with an electric mountain bike it is a fun activity within everyone's reach!
We were explained how to use them and we started by taking a short ride on the asphalt to learn how to use them well and warm up our muscles a bit.
The tour was truly amazing! In addition to the landscapes which were nothing short of lunar and breathtaking, the guide, Raffaella, was also fantastic and super prepared for everything! Both on the way out and on the way back, Raffa stopped several times to explain to us the formation of the volcano, which craters and lava flows correspond to which eruptions, the types of plants we encountered along the way, the various types of volcanic rocks, what are they formed by and how!
In short, if you want to discover Etna in an alternative and fun way, I highly recommend the Into Etna company!
And if you really don't want to know about cycling, don't panic: Into Enta also organizes walking tours!
As soon as I get the chance I will definitely book another tour with them!

A great day with Raffaela as our guide. She was very knowledgeable of the area. She made sure we had a wonderful day and gave us many interesting facts about the area.
My wife and I have different Mt bike skill levels and Raffael made sure we both were able to have fun at our different levels. She also made sure we had all the right equipment to be comfortable on our ride.
A great ride and highly recommended.

What an awesome way to experience Etna at only a moderate level of physical exertion with the ebikes. Our guide, Gino, was super knowledgable, friendly and kept vibes high all the time. He gauged all our riding abilities well and took us to places all of us felt comfortable and confident to do. Highly recommend!! PS - this tour doesn't require a gondola ticket or the bus higher up, so it's actually quite a good deal with a bit of exercise included.

We booked the sunset tour with e-mtb on our last day on Sicily, and we couldn't have made a better choice!
Gino is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Etna. He took us on the road, where we made some stops at interesting spots. We learned about different types of eruptions, explored "furnaces" and lava tubes, visited refugios, and learned about plants that grow on the Etna (and which taste surprisingly well).
The absolute highlight of the tour was when we arrived at an old volcanic crater where we watched the sun set behind the mountains in the distance. On the way back we even got a little bonus gift. As we rode back to the starting point in the twilight, the full moon appeared while we rounded a corner, illuminating our path on the volcano whilst the wind was softly blowing through the trees.
This tour takes you away from the regular spots that are filled with tourists, and will make you experience nature on Mount Etna. If we ever find ourselves lucky enough to be on Sicily again we will for sure ask Gino to take us on the sunrise tour
