When you return to the harbour there are several seafood restaurants along the pier to enjoy, each one better than the other.

We had such a nice time on the boat. It was great to go on a smaller tour and we enjoyed seeing the island, birds, and seals.

We had sun, we had rain, we had puffins, both types of seals and lots of fun. It was amazing and we wanted to do it again right after.

Our train to Howth was late and we missed our original cruise time. Harry our captain and the team were accommodating us, allowing us to take the next available departure time. The trip was on a small boat that seated 12-15 people, that made the trip more intimate and enjoyable as there were only 5 passengers on our trip. Harry the captain was knowledgeable and personable - we had many opportunities to listen to his standard informative talk as well as ask him specific questions about the harbor, the sea life and the history of Dublin Harbor. We got up close and personal with many birds including migrating puffins, and saw many grey and harbor seals as well. This was an extremely enjoyable activity appropriate for all ages, be aware that even on am early June day the combination of sea spray and wind in Harry's open boat - no awning or indoor area to take refuge! was quite cool - we were happy to have windbreakers and long pants. We highly recommend this fun and informative activity!

Captain Shane was very entertaining!! The water was choppy but I felt safe. Great time was had by all 7 of us.

This was a fun and intimate little boat ride. Most of the wildlife we saw were birds, with one sunbathing seal making an appearance. We did manage to spot a few puffins! Who knew they could be so small.
My one complaint is that our ride was around 40 minutes although it is advertised for approximately an hour. It would have been nice to stop and observe more of the wildlife since we had the extra time.

Harry was so kind to wait for us when we were late. It was just our party of 3, which made it even more memorable. We were so excited to see seals and puffins! He truly made our daughter’s day. Thanks again for the amazing time.
