The Pyramid of Djoser, or Step Pyramid, is an archaeological site in the Saqqara necropolis, Egypt, northwest of the city of Memphis. The 6-tier, 4-sided structure is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt. Our guide Ehab was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our driver Ahmed did a great job always being ready for us when we exited our stops and navigated expertly. Ehab is highly educated and has even worked in archeological.

Good trip to Sakkara, Dahshur and Memphis to visit the Step, Bent and Red Pyramids as well as Memphis Museum. These are great sites and we enjoyed it. Bishoo our driver was helpful, friendly and engaging. Our trip was very smooth.

Great tour! Guide, Bishoy, was excellent. Drive was on time and we learned a lot. We also stopped for lunch at a local restaurant which was delicious! Would recommend.

The communication from the tour operator and guide was great, and the driver arrived right on time. Our guide, Bishoy, shared lots of information about history, culture, and politics
We learned that the step pyramid (Sakkara), is the oldest in Egypt. It was amazing to see and we also had an opportunity to venture down into the tomb of a different pyramid. That was a bit of an adventure, but definitely worth it!
We also visited Memphis which was the first capital of Egypt. Lots of ruins and the largest statue of King Ramses II. So much to learn and experience!!

Really nice morning tour to see other attractions apart from Giza pyramids!!! Our driver Karam was very friendly and professional driver and let us know where we wanted to go!!! Totally recommend it!

Tamer and Marsil were amazing during our tour. They took us to try local food and beautiful museums. We also toured Sakkara and were able to see wonderful craftsmanship on the pyramids. They took wonderful photos and made us laugh. The best part for me was their kind hearts and kind spirits. They are both so loving. I feel like I’ve known them both for a lifetime. I can’t wait to come back and visit Egypt again. I personally would love for them to be our tour guides again. I highly recommend them both. We felt very safe with them. Thanks again to you both. You are both very loved by myself and my husband. You made our trip more than amazing! We love you guys. 🥰

After a drive through the crazy traffic, we arrived in Sakkara. We were able to to shuffle down a short tunnel to see the burial chamber and rooms of King Teti - not much to see really, although there are some ancient texts, but the fact it is so old is breath taking. The preservation above ground is terrible with so many of these ancient structures and statues. The surrounding tombs in the area had more inscriptions and some colour. The Step Pyramid - is in poor repair but the stories from the guide brought it alive.
