What an amazing day! One for the books. Selassie was the best tour guide and captain, catering to our interests and how we wanted to spend our day. We met Selassie in Chalk Sound and got on the boat no problem. We stopped a couple times to look at cool spots including Princes old house and some places where turtles frequent…we saw probably 10! We had a nice lunch of sandwiches and the menu had something for everyone. Local beer, water and Selassie’s famous rum punch was available throughout the trip. We were able to play our own music on the speakers which was also great. We will be booking another trip with Silver Palm charters next time we are on island!

Fabulous half day on the water! Selasse greeted us warmly and asked how we would like to customize our trip. We started with a tour around some of the celebrity mansions and then snorkeled around the shipwreck. We had a delicious lunch of sandwiches we picked out the day before. I highly recommend the roast beef. After lunch we visited Noah’s Ark - a floating bar in the middle of the water. We had a tropical drink and swam around. We did a short swim/snorkel away from all the noise. Before we headed back Selasse took us in a tour of Iguana Island. We saw lots of iguanas and some very beautiful coral that had washed up on the spectacularly beautiful far side of the island. Water, beer and his signature rum punch were readily available throughout. We will definitely go again next time we are in Turks.

We’ve been to multiple islands and have done many private boat trips and Silver Palm Charters was by far our favorite. It was the highlight of our trip and our kids couldn’t stop talking about how much fun it was. The boat was spacious and very comfortable. The knowledge and love for Turks and Caicos truly showed through Captain Greg as he shared many stories and facts throughout the day. He scheduled our itinerary avoiding all the crowds and larger group tours so wherever we went it was quiet and made for a more personal experience. We swam with dolphins, saw baby lemon sharks and were the only ones having lunch on a secluded beach. We are looking forward to going back to Turks and Caicos and booking another boat trip with Captain Greg at Silver Palm Charters.
