Had a great time baking with Emily! I got this as a gift and brought friends and we had fun! Comfortable and relaxing environment with, of course, very yummy scones and cake.

Not only did I learn the recipes and techniques to make delicious scones and apple cake, I had an absolute wonderful time visiting with Emily and learning about her life in Dublin. She was warm and welcoming, and I felt very comfortable in her beautiful home. Would recommend for solo travelers and families. A great experience!

Simply put, I had the most wonderful time with Emily. It was the absolute highlight of my five days (first trip) to Dublin. I would totally recommend this booking! The experience was so lovely! I thoroughly enjoyed not only Emily's expertise, but also her warm and inviting personality. She ensured that you had a memorable time learning to bake, and you were comfortable with others in her sweet home.

Emily was a fabulous host to myself and my teen daughter, instantly made to feel welcome in her lovely home.
We had a cup of tea and some homemade scones before we started on the baking itself.
Emily tailored the baking recipes to our special requests and was very mindful of my daughter’s nut allergy.
We made Irish Soda Bread and Granny’s Apple Cake, and took our creations home with us!
It was a fun relaxed morning in Dublin and I would highly recommend this experience.

My 20 something daughter and I loved Emily’s baking class so much! We wanted a flavor for life in Ireland and a yummy baking experience! We got that and more! We had tea and a delicious bread and made scones and apple bread that were passed down recipes from Emily’s family. Then we enjoyed eating our delicious baked goods in Emily’s beautiful home. Emily was delightful, shared about Irish culture in a personal way, and gave us many recommendations of fun things to do while we were there! I highly recommend her baking experience to visitors of all ages!

Lovely time cooking with Emily. I always thought scones were impossible to get right, but now I know the secret - work the butter into the flour and do not over handle the dough. Highly recommend the walk from central Dublin to get to the location. Emily open's up her home and makes you feel most welcome...now I even know what Hurling is thanks to Emily's lovely children!

My husband and I went to Ireland for our honeymoon! I am an avid baker so I knew a baking class was something I had to do in Ireland! We had the absolute best morning with Emily as well as her daughters when they stopped in! Emily welcomed us into her home with such grace. We made delicious scones and Irish apple cake! This was definitely an experience that I would recommend to anyone interested in learning about Ireland! Emily also gave us tips and ideas about where else to visit during our stay. Emily was a wonderful host/teacher! Will definitely book a class again with her next time we go to Ireland!
