Had an amazing tour with guide Kubra on the green tour! I scouted through many tours just to find one without a shopping stop and make my way to the actual agency in central Goreme to book the tour. True enough, there’s no shopping spot (no onyx, pottery, leather shop) which means you get enough time on the relevant stops.
Now on the actual tour, you get adequate time on each stop and clear information was given. Kubra is an amazing guide and we shared the car with another 4 Russians who have their own guide so it’s just me and another guy handled by Kubra, very small group and dedicated attention! :)
Especially enjoyed the underground city which I initial had doubts about but it was really fun and cool!
Only thing I will suggest for improvement is a better lunch restaurant at the Ihlara valley (everything was good except the main dish and they even thrown in free mushroom with cheese and dessert for us) and also a car with a stronger air condition (was seated at the back and it get stuffy at times especially with hot Capadocia weather)
All in all, 10/10 recommend joining Tripster for the green tour! :)

We didn't need the transport as we had a car ourselves, we booked the tour for the guide. The English guidance was very superficial in our opinion. What the Russian speaking guide explained in 20 minutes to the Russians in our group, we got in 5 minutes in English. The guide was a friendly girl, but she should do more effort to become a professional guide.
Visit of Derinkuyu was quite short too, but I don't know if longer visits are possible.
Not recommended for people with back problems, by the way, but that's a general remark about Derinkuyu.
Church was worth visiting.
Ilhara valley was a nice lunch location.
At Nar lake there's nothing to see.

I participated in Shahin's Green Tour. It was very well planned, and I was able to hear his very interesting explanations, as he studied archaeology.
Best of all, this tour does not have the "break to promote his friend's shop" that is common in other tour groups. It is very efficient, and he even took time for photos after the explanation.
English is my second language, but his English is very easy to understand, and he explains the important things clearly.
The restaurant we visited for lunch also had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious.
I really fell in love with Cappadocia ❤️

This tour was absolutely perfect.
Shahin was our guide who is extremely knowledgeable and the perfect guide. He has studied archaeology and has unique experience and stories especially related to Denrikuyu, the underground city which has been recognised by UNESCO.
Other tours might take you to smaller less significant underground cities, they might take you to unwanted shopping locations too, not this one.
I would highly recommend this tour and encourage you to stop searching and just book this one!

We have enjoyed our visit with Kubra and Shahin . They were taking care of us the whole day showing us best spots you can imagine ! Explaining with details about the City history and culture ! You won’t regret being with them !
