Jenny, our guide from Catherine Lu Tours, was awesome. She met us at our hotel and helped us with getting on a Didi ride to Tianamen Square.
She had secured our tickets beforehand for Tianamen Square and Forbidden City for our family of 5. Helped us bypass the crowds lining up for the security and passport checks, we hardly had to line up, which was amazing considering the queues of people. We would likely have had to queue up for at least 1 hour or more in some cases, if we had gone on our own.
Jenny is very friendly and tailored the tour to our requirements. She is a vast pool of knowledge of the history of Tianamen Square and Forbidden City. She even provided recommendations for other places to visit, helped us with tips and provided links for other attractions.
We enjoyed ourselves immensely and would highly recommend this tour package with Catherine Lu tours and with Jenny! Worth every penny.

I couldn’t ask for a better guide than Kathy. She knew so much information and amazing facts about the architecture and history ! This is my first time and first day in China and Beijing ( no language) and she made me feel right at home , I didn’t have to worry about a thing . She also spoke great English.

Very knowledgeable, very friendly. She managed quite well to describe the history plus along the way she did offered quite a lot of advice how to get around Beijing; what to visit.

The tour is very interesting. My guide Carolina gave me a lot of information about the history of China and the Imperial Palace. I recommend making this visit to learn and to take beautiful photographs.

We had an interesting tour of the Forbidden City with our tour guide Justin. He was very thorough and had lots of in depth knowledge of the history of the City and told it in a way to keep the attention of our teenager and young adult. It was a hot day (96), and my older daughter started to not feel well so he quickly got us to the restaurant for a break and cold drinks before resuming the tour. Justin also gave us a good recommendations for a restaurant to have lunch after the tour.

So much to see but we were able to hit the highlights. Our guide brought us to a tea house for a much appreciated break and learned about different teas and able to try several varieties.
Our guide made it so much easier and quicker to get through the very long lines of people waiting to enter. Highly recommended.

I recently participated in a walking tour of the Forbidden City, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Wendy, made the tour exceptional with her friendly and fun personality. From the moment we started, Wendy's enthusiasm was contagious, and her deep knowledge of the history and culture of the Forbidden City truly brought the ancient site to life.
