1. Kensington Palace
Our guide will provide information regarding the history of the palace and it's role in today's monarchy.
2. Hyde Park
After seeing Kensington Palace, the tour will continue through the famous Hyde Park, the second largest public park in London, which retained it's original shape and surface for more than 500 years.
3. Wellington Arch
Commissioned by George IV to celebrate Britain's victories in the Napoleonic Wars, it once stood at the entry to Buckingham Palace. Now located between Hyde Park Corner and Green Park, it's the first commemorative landmarks for heroes of Britain's wars, up to Second World War. You will learn about it's history and development.
4. Green Park
Located between Buckingham Palace and Mayfair, it's one of the ten Royal Parks of London, alongside Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, St James's Park, Richmond Park and others. It will give you an idea about how green and leafy London is and it will be a pleasant walk up to Buckingham Palace.
5. Buckingham Palace
You'll spend some time in front of Buckingham Palace, in order to learn about it's history, how long has been the HQ of the Monarchy and also the secrets which surround it. Note: The Palace is not usually open for Winter months, the tickets available are only for 90 minutes guided tours. If you wish to purchase the entrance ticket kindly do it on their website
6. St. James's Palace
The Court of St James still has the purpose of being the official HQ of the office of the Monarch. You will learn about it's history, who still lives in it and what actually happens inside during the main events. This Palace is not open to the public.
7. St. James's Park
One of London's Royal Parks, it covers nearly 57 acres and is one of the most popular and beautiful parks in London, frequented by londoners and tourists alike, for it's beautiful lakes and landscape.
8. Horse Guards Parade at Whitehall
The famous Changing of the Guard ceremony takes place daily at Horse Guards Parade. Also, Trooping the Colour, a fantastic parade which marks the official birthday of the monarch takes place every year in it's grounds. The actual building can not be visited as it's part of the Government estate in Whitehall.
9. Westminster Abbey
With a history of almost 1000 years, the Abbey stands witness to Britain's transformation, from William the Conqueror to the present day.
10. Palace of Westminster
Houses of Parliament, Westminster Hall and Elizabeth Tower (aka Big Ben), are all part of the estate. You'll learn about it's history and the fundamental role it has in Britain's politics.
11. Big Ben
The famous Elizabeth Tower, also known as Big Ben, if finally refurbished and can be seen in all it's glory. Elizabeth Tower can not be visited until further notice.
12. South Bank
The South Bank of the Thames is home to London Eye, National Theatre, The Globe and Tate Modern, among other artistic venues, restaurants and famous pubs. It will take us towards Tower of London and London Bridge.
13. Tower of London
Fortress, royal residence, prison. And now the museum that houses the most famous jewelry in the world: The Crown Jewels. Lear everything about it and more.
