The entire trip was excellent. Our guide, Clem was superb: his knowledge of wine and Bordeaux was great. Each of the 3 chateaus visited were interesting. All in all, a great day.

Clem was very knowledgeable and passionate about the area. Our tastings were so much fun with a small, intimate group. The lunch was lovely and the quality if wines were top notch.

The wine and the people were absolutely amazing. We went to three very different vineyards with totally different vibes at each. Each place offered between 3-4 different tastings, with insightful explanations. This especially true for the last stop Chateau Abbesse, where the person leading the tasting was also the owner, farmer and winemaker. Every vineyard was welcoming and didn't pressure anyone in buying wine. However, they made it extremely easy to buy wine and ship it to other countries as well.
Our tour guide was Alexandre. He was the best guide we have ever had on any trip. He is funny, welcoming, passionate about wine, and knowledgeable about history as well. He spoke English really well and was able to help us throughout the day, while making the group come together like a little family. It was already an amazing tour, yet he made it even better! I'd recommend asking if he is available for your tour!

Our tour guide Alex was young, very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the Bordeaux wine area and the local wines. We had a nice drive from Bordeaux to Graves for our first Chateau tasting, then off to Saint-Emilion for another tasting and a delicious charcuterie lunch overlooking the Chateau vineyards. A walk through the very pretty and historic town of Saint-Emiliana followed lunch. Then off to our third Chateau to taste some more wine. At the last Chateau, the owner and winemaker hosted our tasting and was very informative about the wines, the wine making process and some great tasting tips. This was the best wine country tour that I’ve been on.

I booked a full day private wine tour for my Mum's birthday. We had a phenomenal day. My mum had a blast, so I can say it was a very worthwhile investment! The pace of the day was on point, not too rushed and we felt like we had a good amount of time in each spot. Jon is a wealth of good information and we felt comfortable, especially considering he speaks great Aussie English :). Thanks again for a great day.

abulous full day out, with Clem as a perfect guide. He was friendly, chatty and well 8nformed, making no assumptions of prior knowledge or pushy in his manner. The areas visited were beautiful and the chateaus well chosen. The vineyard hosts were welcoming and all had a great sense of humour. The gourmet picnic lived up to it's title, with a delicious selection and more than ample provision. We both agreed the full day had been a great choice for the pace it allowed and the picnic.Worth even penny!.

My husband and I went on a full day wine tour with John. The day was just wonderful. It was paced perfectly with John being the perfect host. The wineries we visited were personalised to our preferred wines. John is clearly well regarded by the winery owners and staff as they were very happy to welcome us and John. Nothing was too much trouble. Lunch was enjoyed in a beautiful environment and we cannot thank John enough for being our host for the day. We would definitely recommend a day with Bordeaux Wine Trails. Thank you for a memorable day.

We had a the best time on our wine tasting tour. We visited 3 Chateaux, each completely different and tasted lots of wine! Everything was catered for and we had nothing to worry about from the moment our guide picked us up in the morning until he dropped us off that evening!
We tasted a variety of wines, and learnt how to really savour the taste or what food to pair the specific wine with. Each guide was enthusiastic and made the experience so much fun.
We also got to spend some time in the amazing little village of St. Emilion, which was so cute and definitely must see.
We met such a nice group on our tour that we even met the for a drink afterwards to test out our wine tasting skills😅

AWESOME DAY WITH MAUD
We’ve been on a number of wine tours but our full day wine tour with Maud definitely heads the list as the most enjoyable, informative and fun tour we have ever experienced. She has a warm way with people that had eight strangers, by the end of the day, feeling a special bond that was inclusive and comfortable. It is a unique trait to make a group feel like friends/family by the end of the day, feeling sad the day was over. The chateaus, the attention to detail during the day, the gourmet picnic lunch and the time in St. Emilion made for an unforgettable memory which we will share with everyone we know. Maud is a remarkable woman. So glad we booked this tour.
