My wife and I booked this birding tour and it was one of our favorite days on our two week trip. Florent picked us up from our hotel in Malaga (which we were grateful for and also not easy for him I imagine!) He was friendly, kind and knew not just about birds but the insects and the plants as well! We learned a ton and felt a lot more grounded in the landscapes we were in because of his expertise. He tailored the outing to me specifically and what birds I was interested in seeing and I was able to spot 30 new species on my life list! We definitely recommend this birding tour! Florent was a great birding guide with a vast amount of scientific knowledge on the birds, flora, fauna, insects and ecosystems of the Andalucia region. He was punctual, pleasant and cheerful as he guided us through his home territory on our birding adventure. We would recommend him to anyone who is truly interested in exploring nature in Andalucia. We had an absolutely perfect day with Florent. For starters, he picked us up at the train station making the trip possible for us. Once at the Fuentes de Piedra lagoon, he quickly got nesting flamingos in his scope, and enabled us to take fabulous pictures. He explained the ecology surrounding their food and their habitat. We also got to see a long of 38 birds we had never seen before, including some rare birds and ducks. Additionally, he had fascinating background on insects such as the life cycle of the blister beetle. Next he took us to El Torcal. Just a few of the highlights of what we saw thanks to his keen eye included an Ibex, a Timon lepidus lizard, a Melodious Warbler, a nightingale, and several fascinating plant species such as the Sawfly Orchid. Florent and his intern, Anne-Alice, were both a total delight - friendly, personable, knowledgeable and fun. I can't recommend this tour highly enough!

I loved my day, truly amazing, worth repeating, entertaining and fun. Our guide, Florent Prunier, is an asset for this type of exploratory activity. A nature specialist, he introduced us to several living beings, a diversity of birds, from the vulture to the smallest birds, certain characteristics of trees, insects and plants. I laughed with his colorful anecdotes, particularly concerning the behavior of living beings. He loved answering all kinds of questions, rock formations, agriculture, history etc. thank you very much for this wonderful sharing and the generosity of our guide. Sylvie Huard agronomist farmer

Florent navigated seamlessly mountain roads, three languages, my slightly apprehensive companions on their first guided birding tour to ensure that everyone had an excellent experience. He is a treasure trove of birds, insects, reptiles and plants. As a bonus he also explained cultural practices of cork oaks, olives, almonds and even goat cheese.

Day full of discoveries of the avifauna and landscapes of Donana with Florent who made us discover the hidden secrets of Andalusia that he knows like the back of his hand. We will come back and for more than a day this time!

Punctual and friendly, Florent was a great guide for this day.
I was able to observe many species of birds thanks to the quality equipment (telescope) made available to me. The mouth of the Guadalhorce is a great playground where I learned to recognize different species through song and observation.
I had an excellent sunny day, thanks to Florent for his sharing of Ornithological, but also Enthomological and Botanical knowledge.

Had an amazing time with Florent. Got wonderful views of Griffon Vultures. Also good woodland birds especially the Crested Tit. Ended the day with a wonderful river walk with lots of waders. All in all a great day.

What an amazing day out!!! Florent was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable, picked us up and took us to the most stunning places. Got to see more than we expected and took so many photo.
Worth every penny for a full day out and hopefully will do again when we return.
