Medellin: Horseback Riding Adventure In Nature (Don't Overpay)

This was one of my favorite things we did while in Columbia. The horses were so well trained that even a person who has never ridden a horse would have no trouble at all. The only things I can say that was not perfect about the trip is that the site promised an English interpreter but we did not get one. Even though our guide only spoke Spanish we were able to figure out what he was trying to tell us.

Visiting from a different country so my phone doesn't get service. I made a reservation days in advanced and not once saw anything about ME having my reservation readily available. Yes it's an easy task but my personal cell gets no service or carry time so it wasn't possible. I've been on a couple OTHER tours and they've all texted me an hour or two prior, they gladly texted me on my Colombian number (Updates and changes), ALWAYS had a LIST of their own or actually cared enough to remember the customers names.

There's more I'd like to add but I'll allow el encargado to make things right before doing so. I understand things happen but the customer shouldn't be treated the way I was treated.

Made a reservation and the day of I get an email saying my reservation was cancelled. They don't even give me a reason or offer me a chance to reschedule. I guess you don't want my business.

Bring some kind of raincoat! The weather was really bipolar haha as we started sunny and quickly went to rain, but it was fun. Be sure to also bring cash if you want to buy things in site like artisanal goods or food. Ricardo was a gentleman, would do the tour again if I were to come back 👍🏼

Our tour guide Ricardo makes the experience incredibly fun for both beginners and experienced riders. He interacts with everyone and will try to get to know you individually. The trail was nice, I think just the perfect amount of time and you are always with a group at all times

The tour was well thought out and planned. The round trip transport is smooth and efficient. The instructions from the guide are clear and the excursion itself was very enjoyable. The attention is personalized and the activity is meant to provide an appropriate introduction to Medellín’s rural culture and “campo” life. All very professional.

We really enjoyed our tour through the beautiful landscapes. The horses ride a long the pace of the guide / group. So if your group happens to be full of beginners, they’ll adopt a slower pace and vice versa. The tour is excellent for folks who like the outdoors but also anyone wanting to explore

Our tour guide brings the experience to life. All but great things!! The entire tour progressed smoothly and the activity itself is memorable especially since Ricardo brings everyone together and makes everything fun. They delivered adequate instructions, but the aim of the tour is exploring the cultural rural side of the region.
