Great organization! They take care of you from the hotel onto the train and reverse when you'll arrive to Amritsar. The same happens when you'll come back to Delhi.
Great experiences too, from Attari/Wagah border to the Golden temple.
Ravi Daniel is a valuable guide, he answered all my questions in details and pointed out an extra activity (the partitian museum) if you are not interested in shopping.

It is rare that I get to review on a trip (2-day Amritsar tour from Delhi by train) interrupted by an unforseen farmer's protest, which resulted in our much delayed arrival in Amritsar. Yet the trip proves to be a very fruitful and enriching experience. Here, I must give credit to Sunil Kumar from DeeJohn Holidays India Tour who responded to my text very promptly via WhatsApp when I informed him about what I heard and found out from other passengers in the train—the journey onwards to Amritsar was cancelled. At this point, my Dad and I along with many other fellow passengers were stranded at Phagwara, a town that is 100 km away from our destination. Every passenger was trying to find alternatives into Amritsar, a task that appears daunting since since we heard rumors that highways into Amritsar were also closed. Other than the display of disappointment and frustration due to the uncertainty and inconvenience, no one panic. This is where Sunil came to our rescue. In less than 20 mins after reaching my text, Sunil was able to get hold of one of their drivers, Inderjeet Singh, who happened to be in Phagwara, to pick us up. Meanwhile, my Dad and I stayed and waited in the train while we were being served our lunch complete with hot chai, yoghurt and ice-cream. It was a feast! Also included in the train journey were light snack served immediately after boarding and breakfast shortly after. Overall, the service we received were comparable if not better than that on a typical flight. I was initially apprehensive about taking the train as I heard that it can get very crowded. And indeed it was on our way to and in the Station. I was quickly reassured when Sunil fetch us from the hotel, got our tickets, shepherd us through security and made sure we were probably sitted in our reserved cabin before he left. He also ensured that we had all the information we needed to meet up with the local guide in Amritsar. What makes this trip even more eventful before arriving in Amritsar was to hear what the locals think when they opined about the ongoing protests from every bit of English interspersed among Hindi/Punjabi we could understand. Before long and shortly after we finished our lunch, Inderjeet arrived at the Station and we continued the rest of our journey to Amritsar by car. Despite our late arrival on the first day in Amritsar, I worked with Sunil and the local guide to tweak the tour schedule so that we were able to have a day visit to The Golden Template and the Wagah border parade the following day. As a bonus, we managed to complete a night tour of The Golden Temple on our first evening in Amritsar. The Golden Temple was breathtaking both at night and in the day. The hotel stay was beyond satisfactory as it was pretty upscale accompanied by fantastic dining. In sum, I would highly recommend DeeJohn Holidays for this 2-day Amritsar Tour from Delhi by train. And for those who want to be in good hands, you will be glad to know that Sunil from DeeJohn Holidays is there to look after your back.

Everything worked like clockwork. Taken from hotel and shown directly to our train seats. In Amritsar, our excellent driver Toby was on the platform waiting for us. Great fun watching the evening border closing ceremony. Next day, full tour of various sites. Highly recommended.

Brilliantly organised tour to Amritsar from Delhi. What made the tour so good was our guide Paramjit and driver Lakhwinder, two absolutely great people, with a lot of local knowledge and really helpful as well as just being very easy to chat to and have a laugh.

Guide and driver were excellent.
Attari experience ok but best for patriotic Indians.
No advice but meal included is buffet only.
Train ok but luxury only relative to other local trains

Deejohn Holidays India Tours provided an excellent service on this visit to Amritsar.
The train trio took 6 hours and allowed one to relax and see the countryside.
Met at the Amritsar train station by local guide, Lakwinder, who took me to the Attari–Wagah border ceremony, the Golden Temple, and the Punjab State War Heros' Memorial and Museum over two days.
Thoroughly enjoyed this visit to Amritsar.

The entire experience was fantastic. The entire team, both in Delhi and Amritsar were extremely helpful. They were available at every pickup and drop off point before time. The guide was knowledgeable and explained every minute details about golden temple and jaliyanwala bagh.
I booked this trip for my mom dad and they praised the whole experience as very enjoyable and fulfilling.
Would definitely book future trips again.

Very good, worth recommending. Was a pleasant holiday experience with Dee John holidays. The cars and the drivers provided were excellent, the hotels provided were awesome and overall it was an experience with trying for again.
