Our guides Pablo and Henrique were born in Rocinha, they’ll be delighted to tell you their story. You’ll live in immersion for a day in the largest favela of Latin America.
The experience begins with the famous motorcycle taxis that will take you to admire a breathtaking view. After you going to discover a typical house with once again an incredible panorama.
We’ll walk inside the bécos of Rocinha (small streets of Favela).
You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about a social Capoiera project. But also other cultural points + some surprises.
Regarding safety, don’t panic, the Rocinha favela is a safe place and our guides will stay with you from the beginning to the end of the tour.

Enrique is a very good guide and explained to us very well how the favela works and therefore put an end to certain preconceived ideas that we tourists had….

This was my favorite tour of Rio. Carlos was wonderful, kind, and very knowledgeable. We learned so much and challenged so many of our preconceptions of the favela. Would highly recommend.

We loved our experience with our guide Carlos, who guided us through the Rocinha favela and answered all our questions. He was able to deconstruct any preconceptions we might have had by showing us what local life is like. We also took part in a Capoera demonstration. We recommend this visit to anyone visiting Rio!

I'm happy I did this tour. It was a lot of fun, starting with an exciting (!!) motorcycle ride, beautiful viewpoints of Rocinha, cute local stores, and lots of opportunities to learn about local stories. I feel so much more appreciation for Rocinha and Rio from this tour. Antonio is great, very kind, and knows much about the area and people there. I'd highly recommend this tour!!

Absolute must-do activity in Rio. The guide, living in the favela, is very kind, takes the time to explain everything and answers all our questions. I regret not going there sooner!

Carlos our guide was excellent. He is from the favela and still lives there so knows the area and people very well.
He can speak quite a few languages fluently so everyone was accommodated and the experience was amazing.
This tour is definitely worth doing and you will not regret it. From the pick up on bikes to the visiting of different locations to the knowledge we are told about.
Also there is some opportunity to watch traditional dancing allowing you to give a contribution if you wish. We also visited the gang areas but always felt safe.

Great experience, truly a real world tour, Daniel was amazing . Walked throughout the favela , saw local flair and artist. Met residents ate good food . Highly recommend it . Best tour I had while in Brazil
