On this tour, you'll be picked up at your place of stay and driven to El Yunque National Forest, which is about an hour from San Juan. You’ll experience El Yunque National Forest through the eyes of our passionate guides. You’ll be guided and listen to live documentaries about the cultural significance of this place to our Puerto Rican ancestors. This tour will give you a lot of knowledge about the importance of the tree species, wildlife, and mountain land to the people of Puerto Rico. The tour lasts about 5 hours from pick-up to drop-off, including driving time, three different stops within the forest, and a stop at a local place for souvenir shopping and lunch before making our way back to San Juan.

More than expected. The guide Louis was very knowledgeable from the pick up time he started pointing at different spots and telling us about history or remarkable comments. The experience was amazing!!

We had a great time with our tour guide Louie. He was very informative and took us to several beautiful spots in El Yunque. The right length and easy walking. Would definitely recommend it.

We got the pleasure of having Albeny as our tour guide. He called and met us at our hotel 10 mins before pick up time, then picked up everyone else along the way. We had a quiet group but Albeny's knowledge + history of the island made up for it. :) I was worried we'd get bug bites and such, but Albeny ensured us the entire tour we'd be just fine. Along the way, our tour guide took our pictures and supplied us with life jackets + cold water(we were prepared by having: waterproof phone protectors, sunscreen, bug spray, water shoes, swim suits w. air dried shorts, hat, fanny-pack, and a water-pack).
When we got there, we walked through the rainforest and came to a spot to cool down, and swim. We jumped off a little cliff(super fun)! After the tour, we stopped at a place to eat some local food, and went back to our hotel.
If you're in Puerto Rico, I highly recommend you to do a tour of the rainforest. it's beautiful to witness and amazing to hear your tour guide describe you the history of the island with love + pride .

The trip was great! Our tour guide Albeny was very friendly and helpful throughout the tour. I would recommend this tour for any couples or families looking for short leisure hikes and beautiful sceneries of the island.

The tour and hike were amazing at El Yunque National Forest! Love taking pictures by the waterfall and the tower. Beautiful views! It was a great experience and recommend it to everyone.

Great tour. Our guide Louis was very familiar with the El Yunque Forest and took so much time answering questions and keeping the trip an easy one so it was great for all ages. Highly recommend Louis.
