We saw so many beautiful places in South Korea! Our tour guide Jay was the absolute best, always making sure everyone is happy and well fed - he has a lot of knowledge about the culture and history. The food is also so amazing!

Jay made this tour absolutely amazing!! He was hilarious and made every day fun and enjoyable. I'm vegan, and he worked very hard to make sure I had enough, and as varied, food as everyone in the group. I was fat and happy like Buddha lol. The pace of the tour was great and the hotels were incredible.
A few suggestions: The last Monday of the month, the Suncheon International Garden is closed. In its place, we went to Nak-an Fortress. This was not even remotely comparable. Since it's a monthly occurrence, the tour should be rearranged so no one misses the Garden.
Cut the vegan restaurant with tofu cutlets. This was everyone's least liked meal, and as a vegan, I couldn't even stomach the cutlets because they were too meaty. There are plenty of better options out there.
Hardly anyone from our group attended Spa Land, and the ones that did, didn't think it was anything special. We would have much rather spent time shopping in the market area where we had lunch (near the fish market). It was torture being walked through there without time to enjoy.
Would have liked more time in Busan. Andong was not necessary.

We loved getting to see so much of Korea in such a short amount of time. The hotels and food were excellent. We especially appreciate how our tour guide, Jay, who went above and beyond to make our grandma and aunt, who only speak Korean, feel taken care of. Thank you Jay!

It was an amazing trip. Our guide was Jay, at first he came across a bit rough, but he is honest, most reliable and caring, also he has exeptional driving skills! With this tour I have gained a deep glimpse into korean culture, which I never would had if I had tried this by my own (korean traffic behavior ist different than in europe). If I would change anything, I would leave out the prison film Site and instead spend more time at the tea house. The Food was amazing, I tried so many korean foods, also the continental breakfast optian at every hotel gave me a good base for trying out traditional korean food!Thank you HanaTour, thank you Jay!

It was a comfortable and enjoyable time during the trip. Thanks to the guide, who became friends with the members and was especially kind and attentive to each individual, lots good food 🍱,
it will be an stress-free and good memory of the trip. I would also like to thank the driver for his safe driving.

Hanatour's Discover Korea 7 Day tour was a well-rounded & well-organised tour with lots of history (museums, tombs, fortress); culture (wearing hanbok, learning how Korean paper is made, visiting Hanok villages, tea plantation, watching a satire mask show, even acting in a mock court case ); wellness (spa, walks, hikes) and food ! We even had a chat with a monk and visited a couple of temples, not too many.
The hotels were mostly superb, we love the Grand Josun in Busan, chic and just right on the beach! The meals were generally varied and tasty, and in abundance.
We met some nice people on the tour.
Our Tour Guide Mark was a star! He was informative, helpful, friendly and very experienced. He taught us to read Korean alphabets and some simple necessary phrases. He even sang us a song! Thank you Mark 🙏.
The driver, Mr Park, did well too, patient and always accomodating. Thank you Mr Park 🙏
This is in fact out 2nd time taking the same tour.. it was so memorable when we went on the tour back in 2018 (with the same tour guide), we decided to sign up again and this time, with some friends.

My adult sisters, our mother, and I took the Western Korea 4-day bus tour (English language guide). The tour was a great combination of seeing historic and natural sites. The meals and accommodations were fantastic and often had some non-Korean food options.
Jay was a great tour guide. His English was very easy to understand. His knowledge of Korean history and culture greatly increased our enjoyment. Jay was very considerate of everyone's needs, including our elderly mother's physical limitations. Jay was very personable and engaging.
Overall, this tour was a great way to complement our time in Seoul. I highly recommend this tour and Jay.
