Tonia is a great guide to what locals look for and appreciate in food. Lots of tasting, learning, information about Greek life even beyond food. Our final restaurant destination was fabulous with the chef’s choice of the day. All stops along the way were interesting and fun and each destination had passionate and cheerful owners.

Best meal during our two week stay with an informative, passionate and charming tour guide. She was so well organized and tailored the tour to our interests. We enjoyed it immensely!! Carob, the Crete restaurant was incomparable.

Tonia gave us a delectable adventure. We savoured olive oils, balsamic vinegars, wine, cheese, various meats, and the most innovative lunch with hospitable and creative chefs. Our adventure took in visits to specialty shops that remain an enduring happy memory. Tonia is kind, enthusiastic amd knowledgeable.

This was the highlight of own time in Thessaloniki! Our experience and tour guide were wonderful! We savored so many unique and wonderful dishes while going through the markets, local shops and eateries. Our trip to the market was especially memorable because our tour guide picked up ingredients to bring to a local restaurant where the chef was able to create a unique and off-menu meal for our group. Our tour guide made us feel so welcome. We wished we could have stayed longer for both the food and the company. I would make a trip back just to have this tour again.

We didn’t have many expectations going into Thessaloniki, but walked away fully convinced that it was the most fun we have had on our trip. Tonia, the guide, was the best tour guide we’ve had. She was very friendly, thoughtful, and made us feel like we were apart of her city (shoutout to George). The food was outstanding and cooked for us from the produce Tonia picked out at the market. Awesome experience!!

Tonia was an incredible host and was full of information and advice on the food scene of Thessaloniki. From the chocolates and Trigona (amazing) to the olive oil tastings, spice adventure, olives by the kilo!, and so much more. Finalized by an amazing lunch at a special location that lasted a couple of hours with food that we purchased along the way. Don't miss this opportunity to explore the culinary treats of Thessaloniki with a special guide, two thumbs up for Tonia!!!

What a great way to spend an afternoon in Thessaloniki. Our guide was very friendly and informative and the food was all fantastic. We were even able to pick things out at a local market and have them prepared a few hours later!

The guide Tonya, who is a real-world chef, was very informative, engaged and energetic. She competently guided us through the markets, educated us on olive oil, and kept the group smiling. It was the best tour I’ve taken. Higly recommend this tour!
