Our recent trip with Vertex Tours to Zapallar, Chile, was a delightful experience filled with scenic views, engaging activities, and delicious culinary delights. The journey began with a pleasant hour and a half drive from our starting point, during which our knowledgeable guide, Esteban, shared fascinating insights into Chile's rich history.
Upon arrival in Zapallar, we embarked on a leisurely hike offering breathtaking vistas of the city and the sparkling ocean beyond. The tranquil surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for absorbing the natural beauty of the Chilean coastline.
One of the highlights of our day was the boat ride to Penguin Island, guided by a local fisherman. While it was the end of the season, it was still incredible to witness the penguins in a natural habitat.
After our adventures, we were treated to a sumptuous lunch featuring fresh seafood paired with excellent Chilean wine. The meal was rounded off with mouthwatering empanadas.
To conclude our excursion, Esteban led us on another nature hike, further enhancing our appreciation of Chile's diverse landscapes and wildlife.
