Bali’s Mount Batur is a sacred site according to Hindu belief. The active volcano is located at the center of concentric calderas northwest of Mount Agung, with an altitude of 1,717 meters. Hike to the top of the mountain to take in a spectacular sunrise.

Seeing the sunrise from the top of Mt Batur was amazing! Booking and organisation through their website was very easy, Vindy responded to my enquiry very quickly and was very helpful. Our driver Calvin messaged us on WhatsApp the night before to confirm the 1:30am pickup time for Canggu. Calvin's communication and organisation throught the whole trip was excellent. Our guide for the trek was Charlie, who did an excellent job of leading us up the mountain and organising our breakfast up the top. We were lucky to have a clear morning and saw an amazing sunrise from the top. The tour was very well organised and ran smoothly, and everyone from the team was very friendly and professional.

Difficult but achievable. Worth it. A little cloudy but still awesome view.
Our driver Wayan and our hiking guide Sar were both excellent.

Superb excursion, the ascent of Mount Batur is difficult but worth the detour!
Dante our guide was very friendly and attentive! Upon arrival at the highest point, Dante served us a super comforting breakfast. Then swimming in the thermal waters and visiting a coffee plantation was great.
Our transportation to and from our hotel in Ubud was taken care of by Abeng, who was very pleasant and accommodating.
Go there with your eyes closed!

Sunrise Hike up Mount Batur
Our sunrise hike up Mount Batur was unforgettable. We had an amazing guide who was so sweet and truly knew the mountain. His expertise made the hike enjoyable and safe. The breakfast at the top was a delightful treat, and the views were absolutely incredible. Highly recommend this experience!

We've had an amazing experience. Pick up in the middle of the night by our driver Dedi in Ubud close by our hotel. 1-1,5 hour drive towards the starting point and then the journey could begin going up Mount Batur. A beautiful sunrise with a little breakfast. It was really beautiful. Dedi dropped us off again close by our hotel, thank you Dedi!

Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to see the sunrise due to clouds and fog. Still, this was great experience. Our guides Rapa and Patrick were great :)

We did this tour with Rapa, it was fantastic! I took an 8yr old and 10yr old… it was a hard hike for them, but completely worth it! The views were great!
