What a great experience! Food, fun, and a dynamic glimpse into the history of Little Italy. I went in not knowing what to expect, and at the end of my time I felt like I both understood the food and history of Italians in San Diego. And, it didn’t hurt that we had a dynamic tour guide who knew everyone in Little Italy! I really enjoyed it.

What a great experience! Anthony is so knowledgeable, energetic, and fun. The food was amazing! We had dishes we've never had before that we've not seen in our Italian restaurants at home. We learned a lot of interesting things about the area. We would definitely recommend this to family or friends coming to San Diego! Thank you, Anthony, for such a fun evening!

Our company team building in Little Italy was an absolute blast! The tour and tasting were marvelous, and I'd sign up again in a heartbeat. Our guide, Anthony Davi, brought the history of the Italian community in San Diego to life with his entertaining style and deep knowledge of both the area and its delicious cuisine. Being a longtime resident, Anthony seemed to know everyone in the neighborhood; he was constantly greeting people with a smile and a handshake as we explored.
Our food adventure took us through four fantastic restaurants, indulging in two main courses and two delectable desserts, each offering a twist on traditional Italian fare. From unique flavors to mouthwatering tales behind every dish, we savored not just food but stories too. Anthony's attentiveness to dietary needs—vegan, celiac, and low sodium—was impressive; he seamlessly coordinated with restaurants to ensure everyone left happy and satisfied.
Anthony's warm hospitality made us feel like honorary members of his Italian family. I can't recommend this food tour enough—it's a must-do for anyone looking to taste the heart and soul of Little Italy!

The food was excellent. To note this is not a walking tour as you only go 2 blocks back and forth. Was a little odd as was talking about 1 house that had a little girl trying to ride her scooter as we stood in the middle of the sidewalk discussing her house. Could do some of the talking while eating then standing in middle of sidewalk. Guide was very friendly and personable

Best tour I’ve done in a long time. Anthony is an outstanding storyteller and took us on a journey through the rich history of Little Italy and through some incredible food tasting. He enriched every bite with a history of the food we were eating, the places we were eating at, and even the locals that make Little Italy a special place. We took our 9-year old twins and they had a blast too. The walking distance is very manageable for kids, and the tour ends with great gelatto.
