Marius is a brilliant person, very very helpful and thoughtful of everything. Even before the tour I was asking him so many questions about Brazil and he was very kind to give me lots of tips.
The hiking 🥾 in the jungle was incredible for me from easy terrain to claiming. Loved the waterfalls 🌊 the best part for me 😁. We saw few animals during the trekking : toucans, 🐦butterflies ,🦋 and even some little bugs 🐛. I really recommend Marius tours. Thank you and see you again.

Our tour with Marius was completely faultless. Not only is he an all round great guy, but you can see how genuinely passionate he is about the outdoors and sustainability of Rio’s local jungle. He was super interesting to listen to and knew tonnes about Rio’s history and the local culture. My girlfriend said in the 3 months we’ve been travelling already, he is by far the most knowledgable and friendly guide that we’ve had!

We absolutely loved it!!! What an amazing way to start the day, hiking through the world's largest urban park:) We visited five waterfalls, had amazing views of the city and even spotted some animals - including monkeys and a sloth! 🦥
Regarding the guide: what a game-changer during our stay in Rio! Marius is an amazing professional, very knowledgeable about Rio and the Tijuca park. Right after we arrived to Rio de Janeiro, we had a hiking tour in Floresta da Tijuca, through different waterfalls. It was the perfect way to start our trip since we got to see beautiful places, many animals and we had a lot of fun with Marius and the other people on the hike.
During the hike we got to know about the classic Fla-Flu football match in Macaranã stadium, to which Marius got us tickets and took us! It was an amazing experience to watch such a passionate match!
We also got a chance to visit the restaurants and bars of Botafogo on another day. This was great since it felt safer than the center and broadened our perspective of Rio's nightlife.
Overall the tours with Marius offered us a unique and unforgettable experience of Rio that I would highly recommend to everyone!

My experience with Marius couldn't have been better. We hiked the Gávea trail, explored the Tijuca Forest, and went to see a game at Maracanã, and I can't choose which experience I liked the most. Besides the trails being beautiful with magnificent views and the experiences being very worthwhile, having a professional and responsible guide made all the difference, allowing us to make the most of our days. Marius made us feel at home, always concerned and willing to help us with everything. He made our experience in Rio de Janeiro much better than we ever imagined. I highly recommend him to everyone visiting this city.

Marius was an amazing guide. We did climb Pedra da Gavea (~900m) with one of the best view over Rio.
Very safe with all the equipement needed to climb as a beginer.
One of the highlight of my trip to Brazil.
I definitely recommend to have a guided tour with Marius in Rio. Super Nice and open-minded.

As a person who is afraid of heights, he made me feel safe the whole way through - even at points that really tested me, he guided me with ease and care from start to finish. He was great company, while being knowledgable about the route, surrounding area, wildlife and flora & fauna along - which was very enjoyable context.
The climbing section of the route required my absolute trust in Marius as I hadn’t climbed in 15 years, and never on a rock face. Despite my fear of heights he gently guided me up and back down in a way that writing this the next day I cannot believe it.
I would absolutely recommend this route and Marius as the best was to see a panoramic view of Rio. It is BREATHTAKING - 10/10 - 5 stars - a must try is you are into this kind of thing and you want to feel accomplished with your team here!

Marius took us on an amazing waterfall tour through the Tijuca national park where we hiked, climbed and swam in the most beautiful locations. The hike was really interesting, fun and adventurous. Marius is a great guide - really passionate and well informed about the forest as well as kind and encouraging at the more challenging bits. This was honestly the highlight of my visit to Rio - scrap sugar loaf and see Rio from a more unique perspective guided by a really lovely local guy!
