With the help of your greek host you will have the chance to learn the production process of olive oil in our olive mill as well as the traditional way Cretans cultivate their olive trees for centuries. Visitors will also be able to taste the unique flavor and aroma of extra virgin olive oil and some traditional cretan delicacies. Vegetarians are welcome.
You will also have the opportunity to buy extra virgin olive oil and other products made by locals. Pets and kids are welcome too

Very interesting tour to learn about olive making in Crete. It was clear, without it being too long and the food at the end was a wonderful experience. We bought a lot of oil and honey.
I totally recommend this tour.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed to the farm and offered water. Our tour guide was so kind and knew answers to all of our questions. Our group learned so much new information about olive oil harvesting and production. Great time and a lovely spread of olives, breads, figs/grapes in syrup, cheese, smoked meat afterwards.

Super interesting tour through the olive plantation with an explanation of the production process, no questions were left unanswered. The tasting afterwards really exceeded our expectations. The tour with tasting cost 15 euros per person and lasted about an hour. Really recommended 👍🏻 we even bought some oil to take home.

This tour is a short taxi ride from Heraklion. The guides, Yannis and Theodora, were very friendly and professional. We started with a walk through the olive groves, then we saw the equipment that produces the olive oil, a description of the process, and a short video. Yanina was very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. This was followed by a table sitting where we sampled the olive oil with different cheeses, tomatoes, fruit and bread. You can buy the produce but they do not try to push it on you, there is no “hard sell”. They also know a lot about the local area in general so if you want any help on local places of interest, they will be happy to help you!

What a wonderful tour and tasting! Quite interesting and informative — just the right amount of time. The generous bread, cheese, fruit, and herb tray with the different oil combinations was delicious! From the warm welcome with water bottles to the end of the tour and the little shop, our hosts provided quite a lovely treat!

This was by far the best example of Cretan hospitality my wife and I have experienced so far. We learned much about the olive harvesting and processing process. The tour guide was well informed and very welcoming. The food we ate was amazing! For such a simple meal of bread, honey, fruit, herbs, Raki, special grape syrup and most importantly olive oil, it was a culinary experience. The tour guide’s father and friends were very hospitable, providing good conversation and helpful eating tips. Can not highly recommend enough!

Great experience. You get to see the farm and you have a fabulous tasting experience. The guide served a generous board of olive oil accompaniments (even with 3 people we couldn’t finish it all).
It’s not far from the bus stop but time your way home to align with bus schedule.
