To the University of Glasgow. Founded in 1451, you can wander through its buildings and world-renowned cloisters.
Clydeside Distillery, where you can tour, learn the history, and sample some fine whisky. A fine cafe is also available.
A short drive to Glasgow Cathedral. See the magnificent buildings built in the 1100s and the complete medieval cathedral on the Scottish mainland.

Great day seeing Stirling castle, Wallace Monument and the Battle of Bannockburn. Barry was so great and helpful. We traveled with our parents who are mobility challenged and Barry was so accommodating helping us get the walkers in and our of his car dozens of times. He made sure he got them as close to entrances as possible to minimize their walking.
He was a great conversationalist and made our day!!! Highly recommend.

Barry provided our family group with a great day seeing many sights of Glasgow and the surrounds. It was a rainy day so he was thoughtful and took us to see outdoor places before the rain had started. We were able to spend as much time as needed to enjoy the sights. We would highly recommend Private Day tours. We would not have seen as much of Glasgow on a bus tour with limited time. Thanks again from our family group.

We had such a fun time in Scotland thanks to Barry. He knows a lot about Scotland and its history. And what he doesn't know, he just makes up. :) Our tour of the museum, Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond, and Glasgow cathedral were wonderful. My whole family highly recommends Barry.

Barry went above and beyond in ensuring we could see everything we wanted to in a day completely tailored to our needs. he was accomodating, informative, lots of fun to spend the day with. Couldn't have been better.

Barry was very patient and adapted to our preferences on different areas to visit. He took us to the beautiful Loch Domond, Stirling Caslte and best parts of Glasgow. He held very pleasant conversations along the tour and explained may interisting facts about each of the areas. We had a wonderful tour with a nice guide in a very confortable car. We highly recommend this tour, specially if you need to visit places in a short period of time.

Barry picked us all up at the correct time and place. Very polite and a brilliant knowledge. He made our tour to suit our needs and was very easy to deal with. So much so, we rebooked him for our Hotel to Airport transfer. Id highly recommend him for tours as well as airport transfers.

We did a private tour of Glasgow with Gerry, our tour guide. He picked us up at the cruise port (an easy and efficient process). We had reservations at Deanston Distillery and Gerry got us there with perfect timing. Next we visited the William Wallace monument. Along the way, Gerry was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He answered questions and shared history. Then we took a break for lunch at bird and Bees (recommended by Gerry). It was great- food, service, and atmosphere! Then we had a wonderful time at Stirling Castle. What a great visit- wonderful history and set up very well. The gardens are gorgeous! One last add on - Gerry got us a quick visit to the Kelpies! What a fabulous tribute to these working horses. The sculptures are amazing!
Lastly, Gerry got us back safely to our ship! I have such a high opinion of Scotland - much attributed to our tour and our fabulous tour guide!

Barry was terrific. He made every effort to tailor our tour to our specific interests. The car was comfortable and clean. We saw the beautiful Royal Troon Golf Club, Stirling Castle, a scotch brewery and an overview of downtown with time for fun shopping. We all would love to tour again with Barry.

Barry managed to fit everything i wished for into a truly wonderful day. He came equipped with water, snacks and an interesting commentary about what I was seeing. I would definitely recommend him if you're looking for your perfect day in Glasgow
