The truffle hunt with Angelo and his dog Pesca was a special experience that I would definitely recommend. The hike through the mountains was easy to manage and we were successful in our truffle hunt. We were then allowed to take the truffles home for our own consumption. We received interesting information about the training of truffle dogs and the hunt as well as the surrounding area. Angelo also prepared a picnic, which was very tasty and typically Sicilian with local and homemade food. A great highlight of our vacation :)
