Mythical beasts, tall tales and dramatic scenery: explore the beauty of Scotland in a day on this one day coach tour.
Leaving from Edinburgh, we head northwest passing famous landmarks such as Linlithgow Palace: birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, the mystical Kelpies, and the dramatically perched Stirling Castle.
Continuing north we arrive in Glencoe for some photos of the dramatic ridges called the Three Sisters.
We stop in the Fort William area for lunch before heading into the natural beauty of the Great Glen as we pass Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis.
Heading further into the highlands we arrive in the small picturesque village of Fort Augustus - you can choose to take part in an optional boat cruise here.
The road home will be time to relax and take in the Highland scenery. Final refreshment stop is at the historic town of Pitlochry before continuing the journey home over the Firth of Forth alongside UNESCO Forth Rail Bridge enroute back into Edinburgh.

Anthony was a superb driver guide - personable, witty (dad jokes included), and put his passengers first by managing the tour to their needs. There’s a lot packed into this day trip which hits the Scottish Highlands highlights. An absolutely fabulous day trip!

There are several options for day tours in Scotland but if you are looking for the best no need to look further than Stewart Tours. The incredibly rich tapestry of the history of this amazing country is presented with a touch of local flare that will make it feel even more special. Our driver, Anthony, was courteous and professional. His driving left us feeling safe. I would certainly tour with this company again.

The driver was delightful and informative. Very pretty route, a good journey. The weather is crazy but that’s the fun of it. Lots of animals and beautiful scenery.

Der Ausflug war ausgezeichnet - der Guide Anthony ,gleichfalls auch der Busfahrer , hat regelmässige Pausen gemacht und auch den Punkten gehalten , wo man eine wundervolle Aussicht hatte .
Er hat viele Informationen über die Geschichte Schottlands und Vorkommnisse an den einzelnen Orten gegeben. Wir haben ebenfalls die kleine Schifffahrt über das Loch Ness mitgemacht.
Besonders die schottischen Highlands waren traumhaft schön. Die Tour hat zwar insgesamt 12 Stunden gedauert , ich möchte aber keine Minute missen.

Wunderschöner Ausflug! Die Highlands Tour hat sich absolut gelohnt. Unser Tourguide war auch super lieb und sie hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben, dass es für jeden Teilnehmer ein unvergesslicher Tag wird!

Great day trip around Scotland’s most beautiful scenery!
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He was an expect driver through the narrow and winding roads.
Lots of good stops along the way for photos and snacks.
Definitely recommend this tour!

A great day out from Edinburgh! Anthony made the coach journey fly by with great stories, humour and music. The trip took in wonderful scenery around Glencoe and I would recommend the Loch Ness boat trip. Got to feed some coos too! Myself and my daughter had a great time.

Great day out, beautiful views with lots of opportunities to take photos. Driver/tour guide Anthony very friendly, good sense of humour and lots of knowledge of the highlands and its history. Definitely recommend taking this tour.
