Our driver & guide, Panagioti, made our tour excellent. He picked us up promptly at the cruise port and tailor made our itinerary to interest my 3 teenagers. They really wanted to see Zeus’s cave and Panagioti let us know exactly what to expect. We then went to the Mythological Thematic Park which was extremely interesting. We next had a lovely traditional Greek lunch with local wine. He then brought us to a cute seaside area about 30 minutes from the port with lots of shopping, bars, & restaurants. Panagiota was a very competent and safe driver and gave us lots of interesting history and fun facts about Crete along the way.

Me and my partner have been on this extension a few years back and had a lovely time, this time we have come to Crete with our older children (18-20years). Michael,,
our tour guide was so impressive with his extensive knowledge and enthusiasm of the area. we toured the ce ce plato, witch involved a trip to the olive factory, up the mountains to see increadible views, a stop of at kristae and lots of goats that come running for the food the tour guides feed them! Our lunch was provided by demitri, with homegrown potatoes and meats. Overall a lovely day out.

Our Driver Michael was excellent and gave us a very nice day touring the eastern end of Crete.
Vai and Volousma are both beaches we will return to for full days.

I have been lucky enough to go on a number of tours with the fantastic Adventure Crete. It really is true to say that without their knowledgeable, skilled drivers and comfortable off-road vehicles it would be impossible to get to and see so many of the incredible but inaccessible places Crete has to offer. I couldn't recommend their tours more highly.

Tomas provided us with a custom tour specific to our request of seeing historical and archaeological sites as well as some amazing landscapes and natural wonders. He was knowledgeable and shared stories and history of Crete and the Minoan culture from beginning to end. We even did some 4X4 off reading when a bridge was out as he found an alternative route on two track mountain roads. We also stopped at an incredible mountainside restaurant for an authentic meal cooked over an open fire. The views all day were spectacular, and the stop at the peak of a mountain where we could see both the Aegean Sea to the north and the Lybian Sea to the south took my breath away.

Petra was a wonderful guide. We really enjoyed the personalized trip with the private tour and she did a great job of showing us as much of Crete as we could squeeze in yet it felt leisurely and relaxed too. Crete is an amazingly beautiful place and you should definitely book this tour to see as much of it as you can.
We were on a cruise docked in Agios Nikolaos from 8-9 and had more than enough time to do this tour and explore.

Michael was amazing! We loved this tour. We are a family of 4, with two children in their 20's. Had a blast. Michael has a great understanding of Crete, the culture, and knew how to have fun.
It was, of course, amazing to see the historic sites, but the biggest memory of our trip will be feeding the wild goats, and watching 20-30 of them come running from the mountains. Michael, aka the goat whisperer, was the best!
