3. Oshino Hakkai

This is a five-storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine's main buildings.
8. Oishi Park
A beautiful flower garden faces both Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. This place has some exciting ice cream flavors to try.

Our driver was Abrar, and it was a five star experience even starting prior to our trip. He reached out beforehand and connected to us and offered itinerary change suggestions based on the possible weather challenges of the day. His English is fluent and he was very patient and accommodating throughout the day. He had a good handle on knowing when to come help us during our stops and when to give us some space to wander on our own. Our family of 4 had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend both Abrar and the tour!

Our day trip out of Tokyo with Mike was perfect! He was flexible with pick up and drop off and had suggestions on where to go and what to see based on the weather for the day. Mike was kind and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions enthusiastically. On the way home, he stopped at a car meet for our teenage boys and that was the highlight of their trip. We recommend using Mike as your guide 100%! He is awesome. 🌟

We had an excellent day with Puskal as our guide. We were able to see all the locations on the itinerary and had an excellent lunch at a local restaurant that accommodated my dietary restrictions. Would recommend for anyone wanting a private Mt Fuji day trip.

Mike was the absolute best! We could not have asked for a better tour guide. He was the most patient, informative, calming and pleasant tour guide that I have ever experienced. It didn’t matter that the weather didn’t cooperate because Mike suggested many alternative options that were all perfect for us. Do yourself a favor and book Mike!

This trip was better than I imagined. We had such a great day with Mike. He planned a great day for us, and he was super helpful with our questions and needs. We saw beautiful sights of Mt Fuji and Hakone, and had some of the most unique ice cream I’ve ever had.
