We start our tour with a tasting of three different kinds of viennese meatloaf in a legendary place.
Our next stop at a secret place offers a traditional cute craft, but we won´t reveal more here.
At one of the most famous quick snack places in Viennas heart we may choose from a big variety of delicious sandwiches. Of course a small beer goes with them.
In a glamorous Palais, where some of the most interesting delicatessen in Vienna are located, we try out a varaity of air-dried ham with the right wine.
Afterwards something sweet fits perfect and at a Chocolate Store we get fine pralines and marvel at the large selection of chocolate. Our last stop at a secret place right in the belly of the city will provide a private wine tasting with some great Austrian wines.

Lucas was a great host. We tried food we wouldn't have thought to try and loved it. The wine tasting was great and my husband liked the beer. I recommend this tour to experience new tastes.

This was a solid food tour but not among the best we have had. Some food tours either give you too much food or too little. This was a decent amount but not quite enough to leave you pleasantly full. There were two savory items, two candy items, and two drinks. It could have benefits from one less drink and one more savory item. Some food tours give you a lot of information about the city, such as its history, but this one was pretty limited just to talking about food. The amount of walking was significant but not exhausting. Our tour guide, Lucas, was pleasant.

We discovered and tasted many local delicacies we never would have experienced on our own. A nice mix of sweet, savory and libations.

The tour was amazing! Lukas was a marvelous host and tour guide. He took us to places we most likely would not have ventured to go to. The foods we tasted were spectacular as was the company! I highly recommend taking this walking tour of Vienna, but especially with Lukas.

A fantastic introduction to food in Vienna! Lukas was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. We particularly appreciated his expertise in wine. We took a leisurely stroll through Vienna’s City Center, sampling a variety of delicious sweet and options (and we will be returning to some during the remainder of our trip). Lukas also made additional food and drink recommendations that we will checking out. In case it wasn’t clear, Lucas wasn’t outstanding guide!

The tour was great and the food was great! The only thing I wish is that we had a little bit more extra time for the tour so we could enjoy the food at our own pace, but other than that, learning about and eating the food was great!

What a great tour! While we got to walk around a bit of the city, it was focused on the food. The history of the dishes/restaurants, what makes the food special, and how it's prepared. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, made sure we had enough food and drink, and seats (!!) where appropriate. It was a great mix of different types of foods, including candy/chocolate and a bit of beer and wine. I loved the experience, so much that I went back to a couple of the locations for a second pass later in my trip. Well worth the time and money. Highly recommend!
