Teotihuacan was known as the city of the gods, its grandeur and splendor is so great that today it is one of the most incredible and visited archaeological sites in the world. During the tour of Teotihuacan a local guide will explain in English or Spanish the history and magic of this place.
After the tour, we will have a Pulque, Tequila and Mezcal tasting, as well as see the classic obsidian and silver works.
We will end our tour with a visit to the Basilica of Guadalupe, (Optional at your choice) Here, thousands of Catholics visit to see the Virgin of Guadalupe, being the second most visited religious site in the world.

Eduardo was a great driver- smooth trip down to the pyramids. We met our guide Ivan there and he gave us a very personalized tour of Teotihuacán. He maneuvered us efficiently around other tour groups ,while giving us a great run down on the history of the temples. Importantly, he gave us plenty of time to stop for Instagram pictures for my daughter. After the tour he recommended a cave restaurant (le cavre) the had good food, great ambiance and shorter wait lines than the alternative. Then Edwardo drove us back directly to our hotel where we had picked up. Overall a great day- highly recommend this tour for Ivan’s great storytelling and the personalized attention!

We had the best time with our driver Eduardo and tour guide Ivan - the drive from Mexico City was super smooth and Ivan was such an enchanting storyteller guide. We both left with smiles on our faces.

We were picked up at our hotel and our first stop was the basilica for a short tour but a meaningful one. We then met Daniel at the pyramids and he was super knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience!

ur private tour was wonderful and our guide Christopher was very knowledgeable. Gonzalo picked us up promptly at our hotel and took us to the pyramids where we spent 2 hours. I highly recommend touring the pyramids before going to the Anthropology museum, as you will have more context than what you will see in the museum. We went to the pyramids on a Monday and there weren't many people. A wonderful experience for me and my husband!

The driver never came to pick us up! We waited from 7am-8am. They didn’t answer the phone until past 10am! Terrible way to start my first day!

We had a nice day with Eduardo. He was very accommodating and polite. Plenty of information to share without being overwhelming. At the pyramids we had a second guide Ivan and he was also very informational. There’s a stop at the end of the pyramids to shop in a store. The prices are a bit high and they charge 5% extra for using a credit card, so bring cash/pesos if you want to buy souvenirs. It’s definitely worth noting that these are private tours done in small cars. Not the most comfortable compact sedans but overall a good way to see these sites with a local experienced guide.

Incredible tour! Would HIGHLY recommend taking this private tour rather than a group tour. Pickup from Airbnb was easy, our driver Eduardo was a great driver and friendly. He Recommended the grotto for lunch which was a really cool experience. The drive there was quick as we took the 8 AM tour, the drive back was slightly longer due to traffic. The tour of Teotihuacan was FASCINATING, our guide Ivan was wonderful and knowledgeable. You could tell he was very passionate about the ancient Teotihuacan culture and we learned so much!
