My tour should have been today.
My friends are I were really looking forward to the food tour, spending €110 on taxis Roy trip from Correlejo. We arrived 15 minutes before the start time of the tour to ensure we could spot the host. To our surprise 10:00 came and now one arrived. I contacted Viator , WhatsApp’ed the provider and called a whopping 25 times but was just sent straight to an automated answering machine.
After waiting until 11:10 (1h and 10 mins after the actual start time) we begrudgingly headed back to Correlejo.
I have now seen that my WhatsApp message finally went through at 14:40 but the provider did not even have the decency to respond to accept the mistake or even apologise.
Now I have to wait for a refund despite it clearly being the providers fault who was not even contactable

Absolutely horrible, we were really looking forward to this and travelled from Correlejo to enjoy Puerto Rosario and its food, spending almost €110 on taxi fares round trip and to our shock, no host showed up for the food tour. We waited until 11:10 (1h10mins after the tour should have started) at the meeting point, calling a whopping 25 times with WhatsApp messages left just to get through to an automated answering machine.
Messages finally went through to the providers side at 2:40pm and they couldn’t even bother to contact to at least acknowledge the mistake or apologise.
Now I have to wait for an investigation to get my money back despite the provider not being contactable.
