Full Day Sailing Boat Tour to the Egadi Islands

I booked this Sailing Boat tour before I arrived in Sicily for my Solo Trip. I am so glad I booked this! I had thee most amazing time.

Gabriele and Maria were such welcoming, kind hearted and polite people. They both greeted me explained the safety on board the boat and we set sail to the Islands. There was one other couple that set sail with us who were lovely.

The only way I can describe this is they 'go with the wind'. It all depends on mother natures circumstances which island is first on the list, wether the sails were up or not, which bay they would take you to. But in all honesty this did not matter to me, I was happy to leave this to them to sort out as this is their field of experties. It was so relaxing and calming and they both personalise the journey so you always get the most out of the day.

Personally for me, I did not want to be stuffed onto a ferry or squeezed onto a boat and rounded up like cattle. This was why I chose this Sailing Boat experience, you could relax, complexly unwind, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Gabriele and Maria wanted to get to know me, taught me about Sicily, its history, the Islands we visited. They are exceptional people I learnt a lot about the Sailing Boat, they let me have a go at Sailing and talked me through everything safely. I felt at ease, I was in my element.

We managed to go to a village on an Island that consisted of 70 people. They let us dive off the boat swim ashore, they prepared a bag for us to bring things to this remote island, so we could explore. When we swam back they had prepared fresh melon for us to share. They are honestly such thoughtful people.

If I was to come back to Sicily or if any of my family or friends were to visit I would not hesitate to book a trip with these two people. I can guarantee you'll have the time of your life. Thank you both for a great experience.

Exceptional experience!
Gabriele contacted us two days before to give us details about the day.
We were able to park very easily at the Marina in Trapani.

The excursion lasts all day, the sailboat is very comfortable and Gabriele explained to us several anecdotes about the Egadi Islands and Sicily in general.

We shared the sailboat with a couple with whom we were able to talk a lot and make the day even more pleasant!

Unlike many, this boat day had absolutely none of the tourist atmosphere, it was a family day, perfect for resting and enjoying the sea and the beautiful islands without the noise of the engine.

A huge thank you to Gabriele for being a perfect guide and making this day in Sicily unforgettable!!!

I found the experience at the sea amazing. Would like to come back again, and may stay on the boat overnight. All of my friends were very much impressed with my trip on the sailing boat.

We loved everything about the trip. The views are amazing, sailing was wonderful, and the sea is so beautiful and blue. I strongly recommend this trip when you visit Sicily, Trapani.

We did this trip in August, and we were amazed by the beautiful places that Gabriele took us in his sailboat. We were 6 passengers in total, which made it a more cosy trip. He offered us snacks and beverage for the journey.

We stared our trip using the motor of the boat, as there was not enough wind for sailing. We stop at plenty of tiny creeks around the coast of Levanzo for some quick plunges and snorkelling.

As we came back, there was enough wind for us to sail.

I really recommend this experience

Beautiful water, 3 different swimming spots, and lunch was included. Gabriele and Anita were class acts. Only wish we had time to actually go on one of the islands.

This was a beautiful day out on a 34 ft sailing boat with maximum sailing and minimum engines thanks to our hosts Marie Therese and Gabriele. Parking is chock a block by 9am and machines do not accept cards so be careful to have change. We ended up about 1km up the road but there were nice coffee, granite, gelato and brioche stops along the front. They decide where to go depending on the conditions and we went to Levanzo. First stop was a swim and snorkel, then lunch - tomato baguette and melon. We were offered a stop where the ferry docks but instead went to a lovely little hidden spot for another swim. Motored around the back of the island then sails up again for Trapani. Remember to take some wine (yes, we are Aussie) for the homeward journey. Coffee would have been welcomed after the swim!

We had a fantastic day on the boat with Gabrielle! Despite few registrations, the excursion still went ahead. We were given an explanation about the other islands and had a wonderful time swimming and snorkeling in various small bays. Nice sandwich for lunch and cold water. I would definitely recommend it.

Even though the weather was perfect they cancelled the boat trip due to weather reasons. I'm guessing because there was only meant to be 2 of us going so not worth it for them, but then they need to state there is a minimum number of people going. Very dissapointed.
