Our guide Michelle speaks perfect English and is very knowledgeable on all aspects of Kobe City. When my wife's knee was suddenly acting up at the beginning of the tour, Michelle rented a wheelchair to go down from the top cable car station to the mid station at Nunobiki Herb Gardens. She took us to an excellent Kobe Beef Steak House for lunch. When my wife wanted to buy a specific Japanese product, Michelle knew exactly where to go. Michelle sequenced our tour of the City to minimize the walking distance for my wife.

Michelle was a great tour guide. We met at the JR Motomachi train station and walked to several sites in Kobe. Since a bowl of ramen was on my wish list, she took us to a great place for lunch as well as helped me find a Japanese lipstick requested by a friend. My husband and I saw Haborland, the giant fish statue, a beautiful shrine with magical fox statues and a charming mosque tucked in an “international” neighborhood that also sported a Cuban restaurant as well as the most charming and delicious smelling French bistro. Michelle answered my many questions and was energetic and cheerful during our 7 hour tour.

Everything moved smoothly from pickup to the end of tour. Michelle was wonderful, and offered us lots of information about Japanese culture, lifestyle, a little history. We decided to modify some of our plans midway through and she was able to make the changes with ease. Kobe had more to offer than we realized. Highly recommend this tour.

We did an 8-hour Kobe tour with Michelle. She had such positive energy, it made everything better than expected. She was very knowledgeable about this city, and you can tell she just loves Kobe. We highly recommend Michelle.

We had a walking tour with Michelle. Shrines, neighborhoods, coast, etc. She is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Even explained the difference between Japanese and our American culture. We could not have had a better guide.
