The tour was both good and disappointing .

The driver is good who drives you to Prague, Budapest and Vienna.

The hotels they pick for you to stay are in good location. The one is Prague is very nice. The one in Budapest was ok.

The local tour guides in both cities are very good. The one in Budapest was very helpful

I found the tour description misleading in a couple of ways.

One is there are no welcome traditional/authentic meals. I did not expect them to provide us a meal but at minimum make restaurant recommendations. The response when I asked about the “welcome dinner at a traditional Czech restaurant “ when we were in Prague was a text message with the list of tour inclusions /exclusions. We were therefore left on our own to find a restaurant. We were disappointed by our restaurant choice.

When we arrived in Budapest we did not bother to ask about the “authentic Hungarian dining experience”. Instead we asked the hotel reception about where there was a Hungarian restaurant. They said the restaurants they deal were booked but we could eat in their international restaurant. We wanted authentic Hungarian so we decide not to. The local tour guide texted us to see if we wanted to go on a tour with her that evening. We said no and asked if she knew of any Hungarian restaurants that we could go to. She called and got us into a Hungarian restaurant very close to the hotel. It was perfect.

That evening the tour company sent a text telling us to ask the local tour guide (a separate contracted tour company) about taking a tour down the Danube river when we met with her in the morning. After several text messages with the local tour guide and this tour company I found out it was up to us to make the river tour arrangements and it was not included. I sent them a screenshot of the itinerary where implies it is part of the tour with “free admission” . This tour company then decided book the boat tour for us.

In the morning we checked out and left our luggage in the hotel lockup. As my husband and were waiting for the local tour guide we started trying to figure out how we were going to get back to hotel after the river tour and connect with the driver. 5 minutes before local guide city tour was going to begin I was texted by the tour company saying they would pick up the luggage from the hotel and then met us downtown when we were ready to return to Vienna. This was very nice and worked out perfectly but it seemed like a last minute thought. Not very well organized in my opinion.

I would not recommend this 3 day tour. The tour description was misleading. The 6 hour drive between Prague and Budapest is very long. I would have added another day to stop in Bratislava in Slovakia. Additionally you need more time/days to see these 2 cities
