Lori was a true expert and professional about Rome, its history and, most of all, navigating the street and shortcuts! She has diagrams on her phone that she will show you about the detail of the architecture and points of interest. This was a 4-hour private tour. It was an expensive trip per person but we picked it based on the description and order of sites (Villa Borghese, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza della Bocca dell Verita, Pantheon, Circus Maximus, Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps). When asked what we wanted to see, we said exactly as the itinerary was shown. It was a short awkward moment. There was an event somewhere in Rome that day that would have closed some of the streets, but no one communicated that in advance to us. It was a great experience, but we could have seen most of what we wanted in a less expensive tour.
