What an amazing day. Lots of walking but not too difficult. The tour guide Atilla was full of knowledge telling us the history of Istanbul. Beautiful sites, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazar all followed by a fabulous Turkish lunch (incredibly delicious and ohhhh, so much food). This was a day we will remember in this beautiful city filled with so much history!

Atilla did a great job “herding” our large group along despite crowds, and some slower and more challenged members of our group. His English is great too, which makes a difference for Americans.

My family and I took a Norwegian cruise last summer to Greece and Turkey. While in Turkey, we stopped in Istanbul and booked a private tour with Atilla. I am SO happy that we booked this private tour! It made our time in Istanbul exceptionally memorable!! Atilla met my family and me at the cruise port and took us around his city. We had a fabulous time and appreciated being able to see all of the major sites since we were a small group. We made the most use of our time in Istanbul thanks to Atilla. A great and most interesting tour brightened up thanks to Atilla's comments and knowledge of the city. He made our inner discovery much deeper by sharing lots of historic facts and anecdots bringing the rich past of the city to life. He took us to exclusive places and gave lots of precious help and advice enabling us to spend a great time on our own too. We had the feeling to share a bit of genuine Turkish life.
