Private day trip from makadi to luxor. Amazing day seeing so much. Valley of the King's we saw 3 tombs and then paid extra to see tutankhamun which in my opinion was worth the extra money as you see the mummy and tomb..
We saw lots of and big things and went on a boat on the river nile.
The journey was long as one of the police check points we waited around 35 minutes to get through so although leaving at 5am we didn't arrive in luxor until around 10am with another 20 min stop (on way back it was approx 4 hours including a 20 min stop) so arrived back around 8pm.i think we were unlucky on the way out.
Would recommend. Our guide was Nimo and he was very knowledgeable.

The trip was beyond my expectation! From the very start to the end, everything was perfect. Drivers were professional and making sure we were comfortable. Food was included and was absolutely beautiful. Our giude Ahmed was amazing: very interesting to listen, he made all the stories special with fine humour, he was very professional with amazing personality. He is Egyptologist with years of experience. Ahmed was taking pictures of us while we were enjoying the views and was always making sure we are happy. I was travelling with my 9y.o. daughter, and she loved it too.
The Luxor itself is stunning and full of history: I was amazed.
I am glad I took this trip. My stay in Egypt wouldn't be so special without it. Definitely recommend.
