The best experience of my trip to Joburg. Reading the stories and seeing depictions in movies does not prepare you for the clash of emotions this tour exposes you to - anger, pride, joy, melancholy, hope all come crashing down on you. The detailed depictions of the struggles of the people in new Johannesburg, the degradation dehumanization of Number Four, the hope in the Constitutional Court’s concept of “justice under a tree,” the display of.segregation and unjust imprisonment juxtaposed against the dreams of unity and reparation forged by the Truth & Reconciliation Commission will overwhelm you.
The experience was made richer by the expert storytelling of my guide - Thabang. His knowledgeable descriptions of history of city, the establishment pf the townships and chronology of events made it easier for me to understand the entrenched racial and social structures the people struggled against as they fought for a better life.

Thabang was a spectacular guide. The experience in Soweto was incredible. I definitely recommend the tour to everyone who wants to have a unique experience in the city. We passed through several neighborhoods that we never imagined we would pass through. Great!

During our AMAZING trip to Johannesburg, we did the Ultimate Johannesburg Soweto Experience with Apartheid Museum. The tour is both inspirational and emotional. Our tour guide, Thabang, was AWESOME!! He was very knowledgeable, and made sure that we had a great and authentic experience! In addition to visiting Nelson Mandela's home, the Apartheid Museum, and the Hector Pieterson Museum, Thabang also took us to Chaf Pozi for lunch where we had an authentic South African meal. The people were great and the food was delicious. Thabang is the best guide!!!

The tours provided in Johannesburg and Soweto by Thabang were educational and food for the soul. The parallels for freedom, equality and human rights in South Africa and America are uncanny. I would love to do the tour again and spend more time in the museums.

The tour was very informative. Both tour guides gave us a lot of information about Johannesburg and Soweto and I would recommend everyone to do this tour to better understand the history of the country . It is a must if you are visiting Johannesburg

Highly recommend that you do this tour, it was very informative and well presented, we were given time to stop and take pictures, I enjoyed visiting soweto it was very interesting loved the vilakazi street thatthatwas my highlight so much historyand so much to take in. Our guide picked us up on time excellent guide.
