Guided tour of Alhambra and Generalife with Nasrid Palaces

Our tour guide misread our entrance time on the Nasrid Palace ticket and took us to the palace at 6:04pm when our ticket was actually for 5:00pm. The ticket staff would not let us enter the Nasrid Palace as they said the ticket is no longer valid 59 minutes after the scheduled entrance time printed on the ticket. Since me and only 1/3 of my 4:00pm tour group had been booked by the tour company for 5:00pm entrance to the Nasrid Palace (the other 2/3 of my 4:00pm tour group had been booked for 5:30pm entrance), the tour guide abandoned the 1/3 of us who could not get in with the 5:00pm tickets and took the rest of the group with the 5:30pm tickets into the Nasrid Palace to complete their tour. The tour guide did nothing to try to resolve the issue with the ticket staff or try to work something out with the tour company to rebook us or refund us; he literally just abandoned us at the gate. The tour guide also never took me and the other 1/3 of the 4pm tour group through the Palacio El Partal (I'm assuming he must of toured it following the Nasrid Palace after he had already collected our audios and abandoned us at the gate). The guide also only briefly talked about the Palace of Carlos V as he walked us past it and never took us inside to see it even though our admission ticket and tour was supposed to include it.

So the ONLY part of the tour the guide took me and the 1/3 of the 4pm tour group on before he bailed on us was the Generalife and Alcazaba which are both minor sites/just extras; the whole purpose of the tour is to see the Nasrid Palace. The itinerary for the tour was supposed to be to first tour Generalife, then Nasrid Palace, then Alcazaba, then Palace of Carlos V, and then the Palacio El Partal. The tour guide did the tour out of order, doing Generalife and Alcazaba first because he misread the ticket entrance time on the Nasrid Palace ticket; had he done the tour in the correct order and read the ticket time correctly we would have been able to enter the Nasrid Palace. The tour company and tour guide's serious mistakes resulted in me and 6-8 other people never getting to tour the Nasrid Palace as the tickets at the gate and online were all sold out for the next several days and we were all leaving Granada that evening or next day on Monday, making our whole trip to Granada a complete waste of time and money.

I promptly contacted the tour company Viaternum after the tour guide abandoned us at the entrance to the Nasrid Palace about getting rebooked with one of their other tour groups for the Nasrid Palace the next day on Monday morning before I left Granada or getting issued a refund for the tour they never completed. They finally reached back out to me the next day via text admitting their tour guide messed up and "apologizing" while making excuses for their "human error" and offered to refund me a pathetic 25 euros of the 69.99 euro cost of the tour or to rebook me on a tour of Nasrid palace on Tuesday as their Monday tours were booked out and unavailable. I told them I was leaving Granada Monday afternoon so touring the Nasrid Palace on Tuesday was obviously not an option and a refund of 25 euros of the 69.99 euros is absolutely unacceptable. The tours of Generalife and Alcazaba are only 29 euros, that alone is a difference of 40 euros and on top of it their incompetence left me and 6-8 others unable to tour the Nasrid Palace which was the only reason I came to Granada. The tour company has not returned any of my calls, has not further responded about issuing my refund, and Bookings.com is doing NOTHING to resolve the issue even though I have written proof in the messages showing that I did not receive what I paid for and am owed a refund. Bookings.com is useless and the tour company Viaternum is shady, unethical, disorganized, and does not return your money if they mess up and you don't get the service you paid for. Taking someone's money and then not providing the whole service they paid for is the definition of theft.

Comprehensive tour of Generalife gardens, palaces and La Alhambra. Guide was very knowledgeable and responded to questions. Walking tour which was well paced.

Our guide was so passionate and knowledgeable. After 3 hours I could have continued hearing about this sacred place. After passing through 3 security/tickets scans to see the varying Palaces the tour ended in the Garden where he made recommendations for additional exploration. This tour does require a lot of walking and be prepared for outside temperature. Our guide did allow for several water/bathroom breaks. The views are some of the most beautiful in all the world.

We are very satisfied. Alhambra is lovely place and worth seeing. Our guide Marta was great and thanks to her we had the whole picture of this wonderful place.

Excelent visit. Our guide, Horacio, was fantastic. He respondes everything we asked. He knew everything and explained very clear every detail of the history of the place. We super recomend this tour and specially the guide Horacio! And the place, Alhambra, is something really awsome. We had never see something like that. Its really incredible. You MUST visit this place!
Pd: we recomend to wear comfortable sneakers because the tour lasts 3hs aprox. But is really really worth it!

I love this company. They made it possible for me to get a tour even after I booked one month wrong because I got confused with the dates.The guide was fantastic you could see that he loved his job. All together 5 Star experience. Thanks again!

The tour was well organized and comprehensive despite being a large group. Our only criticism was that the ear pieces were very uncomfortable and the guide was a little difficult to understand. The tour is also extremely long (3.5 hours) and very, very hot. If the ear pieces were better (a bud that goes directly into the ear perhaps), and the guide was a little bit easier to understand, this might have compensated for the uncomfortable length/temperature.

Our guide Husein, charming, super well prepared, we went with a small child and he got him hooked by talking to him about the legends.

We had booked a great tour and the organization was really good. We were provided with all the information in advance via email and WhatsApp and were therefore well prepared (tickets, IDs, etc.)
