I highly recommend! We booked this last minute when our cruise arrived in port. It’s a very easy walk across the footbridge to the company’s dock. Plus, allow for 10-20 minutes before or after because the antique boat museum is right there, so you can walk around and look at wonderful wooden boats in the marina.
As for the trip, it was really a lot of fun! Our guide was fantastic. He provided plenty of interesting facts about the various places we visited. Check-in was very easy. The fast parts of the ride were exhilarating, but there were plenty of breaks where he went slower and we could take pictures of the beautiful islands.
Good for all ages. I took my 80 year old mom and she did fine.

So much fun! My teenage daughter looked at me half way through and said good job booking this! We laughed so hard! Our guide was also super informative, giving lots of fun facts during the slower parts of the ride. Would definitely recommend.

Safe, exciting, beautiful. Well worth the cost. Operator was very safety conscious. What a fantastic hour. We sped across a bay at high speed so that we could spend time idling around islands and through camels. Magnificent. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Great adventure.

Arrived in Kristiansand on a cruise and unfortunately all the RIB trips were booked out. As we walked by the quayside we found what was a boat trip offered by the same company but on a larger cruiser type boat. The guide was extremely helpful and advised that the cruiser did a similar tour as the RIBs and was almost as fast. We went ahead and booked and it was just us and another couple from the cruise and we weren't disappointed. The cruise was brilliant and on the open sections we reached about 36 knots. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and gave a great tour with lots of information about the area. Would definitely recommend this tour and the cruiser was an excellent boat. We came away warm and comfortable whereas the RIB passengers didn't. If you land here and can't get a RIB ride and the cruiser is available do it and by booking direct it was much cheaper than what the cruise company were selling it for. If you want a boat ride in Kristiansand then I would definitely say "Go Norway! 🇳🇴

This was a wonderful tour. It’s a speedboat, but only about 15 minutes of it is going very fast. The rest of it is through a wonderful tour of the island and old houses.
