A famous old haven for pirates where now you can relax, swim or enjoy a kayak ride in the refreshing waters of the seven color lagoon.
Bacalar is definitely a must if you are at Costa Maya! We recommend this tour if you are an adventurer or just looking to relax away of the crowds.

The kayaking was fun and the setting was beautiful and clean. The van driver ruined the adventure when he found my money purse and stole $100. The good news was he returned the passport that was inside.

It was lovely, did not know it was fresh water that was a nice surprise. The kayaking was longer than expected, not difficult just long. Not much to see either. Lunch was incredible and plentiful. Wish they had more paddle boards (they had 1). Overall tranquil and lovely
