Explore Etna starting from Syracuse, accompanied by a certified guide for an unforgettable experience. We depart from Syracuse at 8.15am from Molo S.Antonio and in the direction of the Etna Volcano and the wonderful world of volcanic phenomena, admiring the extraordinary effects of volcanic flows, its lunar landscapes and spectacular panoramic views.
We will reach an altitude of 1900 meters, from where we will begin our trek in complete safety among the craters and volcanic paths at an altitude of over 2000 meters, maintaining a comfortable pace.
Our expert guide will lead you on a challenging and exciting excursion, suitable for all physical abilities.
After the excursion, you can treat yourself to some well-deserved relaxation in a local cellar, where you can taste fine wines and delicious typical products of Etna, immersed in an authentic Sicilian environment.
The return to Syracuse is expected in the afternoon, around 4:00 pm, with return to the starting point.

Francesco collected us from the hotel on time and we were in a small group of six.
We learned about Mt Etna and the Flora Fauna abs history of the volcano.
Francesco made sure we were able for the climb with walking poles and jackets as the temperature was considerably cooler than sea level.
We had a lovely lunch and the souvenir shop was more reasonable than city centre shops.
A great day all around and I would thoroughly recommend.

Francesco is a fantastic guide. He know a lot about Etna and also about the surrounding. It was a very interesting and exciting tour wich ended with a very familiar winetasting. We had a great day!

o mount Etna. He was very personable and kept checking we were ok. The trip was really well organised and it was nice to end with opportunity to taste some amazing sicilian food and wine.

Francesco is the best guide you could hope to meet: passionate, knowledgeable, attentive to the needs of his hikers, he told us a lot about Etna, its flora and fauna, through a route - perhaps less traveled - than from the path “back of the donkey” took us overlooking the wonderful Valle del Bove, a spectacle of nature that truly leaves you breathless.
At the end of the tour, a truly remarkable tasting of typical products capped off a day that exceeded all expectations.

Francesco was like a friend we hadn't seen for years!
We immediately got on well, laughing and joking all day, he led us to discover the Alcantara gorges and the 1992 lava flow in Zafferana Etna, explaining the whole history of these places with immense passion and knowledge of its fantastic territory.
We ended the day with a lunch based on typical products and a tasting of 3 excellent Etna whites!

Appalling - tour guide did not show up, we waited and tried calling number provided but no answer on multiple attempts. Wrecked our day as we had no chance to make other arrangements. No subsequent communication to explain and apologise. Strongly advise other to never use My Siracusa.

Appalling and extremely disappointed - the tour leader never showed up and no one answered when we rang the number provided for local support. Severely impacted the limited time we had in Siracusa.

Francesco is an incredible host, the tour of Etna was amazing with lots of opportunities for photos and stunning views. The wine tasting afterwards was a real treat and the food was incredible and the hosts very friendly and attentive. We'd definitely recommend Francesco for a tour, he is a fantastic, attentive host who couldn't do enough to help and show us around.

We did a private tour from Syracuse to Mnt Etna and Toramina with our guide Francesco.Francesco was amazing in showing us exactly what we needed to see.His knowledge of the area and organisation skills enabled us to have an incredible experience.
We highly recommend Francesca as a guide for tourists visiting Sicily. He is generous with his knowledge and time .English was a given.
