Such a great hike, beautiful views and very knowledgeable guides. David was our main guide, and we were met by Hernan as well, who had tons of local facts and stories to add. It was actually not as strenuous as I imagined. Next time I’d try the more difficult route.

Great way to escape the city. Absolutely beautiful scenery in the cloud forests.
Really informative and helpful guide's.
My only criticism is that they didn't have a pair of binoculars.
What with all the bird life.

Beautiful hike! The guide was wonderful. The only major issue was with pickup. The driver arrived early to pick up each group, and told us he almost left without us because he didn’t see us. He left one woman and the translator behind. We almost reached our destination after an hour and a half of driving, then our driver turned around and drove all the way back down the mountain to pick up the people he forgot!

Our driver Hector and Guide Juan Camilo were outstanding! They were waiting at the meeting point when we arrived and provided great information about the local area, Columbia's colonial history, flora and fauna we saw and Colombia's efforts to transition its farming economy to a more environmentally sustainable system. We had a great day hiking the Choachi mountains and exploring 3 waterfalls!

Andes Eco Tours was able to combine their Mountains, Waterfalls, & Rock Art hike with a visit to the Hummingbird Observatory for me and the day was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! Our guide and driver were both amazing and I loved being out in nature learning about the plants and animals in Colombia.

This was an amazing tour and if possible you should book it. We hiked trough the mountains and saw beautiful plants and amazing scenery, Andres and his team were great guides and you really learn about the area and the people who live there. They also were in line with all Covid precautions. The history of the area is really cool knowing you are walking on trails that are 1000's of years old. Parts of the trail can be a bit difficult at times but it is so worth it.

We took two tours:

1. Traditional Bogota Coffee Tour

For coffee lovers and those who want to learn the whole process from picking up the coffee beans up to drinking the coffee, then this is definitely for you.

The tour last approximately 10 hours. You’ll visit 2 ficas (haciendas) Familly run plantation. You’ll be impressed, or at least I was, by the nature.

You’ll have the possibility to buy coffee from there - high quality and much cheaper than in Bogotá or another place: 500g 15kCOP.

2. Cloud Forest & Waterfall Hike

This tour last half a day. You’ll do approximately 5 km of trekking with the final destination to the cascade.
The local spanish guide is a very nice person and full of local nature knowledge.

Again, the nature is impressive.

Both tours are extraordinary! Would have appreciate if our guide was more customer care oriented. I had the feeling she was tired already of doing same thing.

In rest, no regret, if time would allow, definitely would do their other tours.
