This exciting adventure is very unique and entertaining. Your guides who are in full Viking Warrior Battle Costume are all deeply invested in Viking culture and the Norse-Gael legacy of Ireland and Dublin in particular. Indeed, many of them have featured in the TV Series Vikings and Valhalla and numerous other Viking re-enactments.
“While on this tour you may get the urge to go “Viking” and pursue a life of unending adventure, raiding and battles to fulfil your destiny to take your rightful place at Odin’s table in Valhalla.”
You have been warned.

I honestly can’t oversell this tour - it was hands down one of the highlights of our Dublin experience. Still talking about it days later! Great for all ages - our group was small, but the ages ranged from children/teenagers to adults (early 30s - 50s). I can safely say that we all were having a blast from start to finish - it flew by!
Bren (tour guide) is easily one of the coolest dudes you’ll meet in Dublin. He’s a veritable walking encyclopedia when it comes to the city and history of the region. He blends history and wit to create a memorable experience you just can’t miss. His exuberance is infectious - it will make your whole day. To say he is passionately knowledgeable almost feels like an understatement. He is game for any and all questions you may have, all of which he will answer with obvious expertise coupled with an anecdote or two (: (he stayed longer just to answer my millions of questions - thank you again!). And honestly, I’m not sure you can really say you’ve been to Dublin unless you’ve walked through the streets with a Viking. Take my word for it - you do not want to miss out.
The tour itself is an awesome way to get to know the city, and the historical content really puts Dublin into perspective. You will leave with a much richer understanding of the area, and you will *never* be bored - this I promise. We happened upon this tour by chance when looking for a walking tour, and boy did we get our money’s worth. Will absolutely recommend to any and all traveling to Dublin!

Bren was amazing and this tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. A must do for anyone that wants a good history lesson on the origins of Ireland and the Viking influence on the culture and people. You'll get to see a lot of Dublin and get a thorough explanation of the history that you wouldn't otherwise get. The ability to tell a good story recreating the events of history is a rare talent and Bren nails it. Highly recommend this tour if you are visiting regardless if you are a 1st time or regular visitor. (and we're dog lovers so having Luna, Bren's puppy, along was a nice addition)

Absolutely brilliant tour. I know Dublin well, but I discovered locations and their histories that were hiding behind the obvious. It's so much fun to be walking around with someone dressed as a Viking, a great story teller that makes you believe you were there at that time.

Amazing is the word to start with, when you see a viking waiting for you to take you down on the historical walk of Dubh Linn Castle n Trail. We were just in an awe of the experience. Totally worth it. Choose the experience to explore nice/fun facts.

We were in a group of 6, which meant the guide could talk as he walked as well as when we stopped. He was full of information about the Vikings and the local culture from before then, but also wove in more recent periods from the Normans through the Elizabethans to the 1920s independence events. Very interesting and we got more than our money's worth.
