This is a private tour with local and expert tour guides. This tour takes you to the must-see places of Ephesus and its surroundings..
The first stop of our tour is House of Virgin Mary where it is believed that she spent her last days. This house offers visitors a spiritual experience. This place has been visited by Pope VI Paul in 1967, Pope John Paul II in 1979, and Pope XVI Benedict in 2006.
After visiting House of Virgin Mary, our next stop will be Ephesus which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After exploring the magnificent ruins such as Odeon, State Agora, Temple of Domitian, Curetes Street, Terrace Houses, Temple of Hadrian, Celsus Library, Trade Agora, Theatre and Harbor Street, we will visit Artemis Temple one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Ephesus Turkey Tour will meet you with the sign your name written on it at the exit gate of Kusadasi Cruise Port Terminal building and we drive to Ephesus area.

The first stop of our tour is the House of the Virgin Mary where it is believed that she spent her last days. As one of the pilgrimage centers of Christianity, this house offers visitors a spiritual experience with its atmosphere.
3. Ancient City of Ephesus
Ephesus was very importand ancient Greek and Roman city. It was one of the most prominent cities in the Roman Empire and played a significant role in the history of the region. The Ancient City is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We will start our tour from the upper part of the city. We will explore the magnificent ruins, such as the Odeon, State Agora, Temple of Domitian, Curetes Street, Temple of Hadrian, Celsus Library, Trade Agora, Grand Theatre, and Harbor Street
4. Ephesus Terrace Houses
Terrace Houses Museum is another section within Ephesus Ancient City. This ancient site is a unique place where multi-story houses from the Roman period were built along the hillside. The rich mosaics and frescoes in the Terrace Houses reflect the lifestyle of the wealthy in the ancient world.
5. The Temple of Artemis
Artemis Temple is an important religious and cultural center in the ancient world and considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World
6. The Basilica of Saint John
The basilica is dedicated to St. John the Evangelist and it is considered one of the largest churches in Ephesus in ancient times. St. John Basilica is an important center in the history of Christianity and it is believed that St. John the Evangelist died here
7. Kusadasi Castle
Kusadası Castle also known as Pigeon Island Castle or Güvercinada Castle it is a historic fortress located in the coastal town of Kusadası castle's origins date back to 6th or 7th century AD
8. Okuz Mehmet Pasa KervansarayI
You can visit the caravanserai located directly opposite the harbor of Kusadasi at the end of the tour.

The guide was kind and informative. He was very accommodating to my autistic son. We saw Ephesus and the House of Mary. The van was spacious and comfortable. The best part of the day for my son was the van ride.

We were able to see everything I wanted to see and hear back to the port and cruise ship in time for lunch.

With the help of a sensational guide, indicated here, our last adventure in Turkey (after visiting Istanbul and Cappadocia) was Ephesus (129 BC), known as the Turkish jewel.
Located close to the beautiful Aegean Sea, the city was in ancient times the second most important in the Roman Empire (behind Rome). The ruins comprise one of the largest open-air archaeological museums,
of the world.

We visited the Temple of Artemis (one of the Seven Wonders of the World), the tomb where the Apostle Saint John the Evangelist was buried and finally, the House of Mary, a sacred place, where Our Lady, taken by Saint John, spent her last years of his life and ascended to Heaven!

Being in this place was an indescribable connection, one of the greatest emotions we have ever felt! I highly recommend it and we would like to thank our guide, who provided us with this incredible experience. Without him, it wouldn't have been so perfect.🙏🏻❤️

We were looking for a day trip from our Kusadasi cruise port and we found the perfect tour!!! Our guide was truly excellent! He was extremely interested in taking us to sites that were important for us to see, and he was knowledgeable about every one. His English skills made it easy for us to understand and learn about the history. Because of our small group of six, we were able to visit The house of Virgin Mary, Ephesus historical sides, Tower of Artemis, Turkish rug maker with a wonderful light lunch with local products.
I would highly highly recommend this tour!

Tour guide of was excellent! He offered many options to us to choose from and was flexible. Visited many tourist attractions - house of Virgin Mary, historical sites of Ephasus, but he also took us for a local food experience where we enjoyed a quiet specially prepared lunch in a beautiful garden, followed by a carpet making demo by master craftswomen. I even ended up purchasing a Turkish rug! Our tour was truly unforgettable! I highly recommend this tour!
