Visit the ancient Mayan jungle cenote to see one of the sinkholes that are part of a network of underground rivers revered by the Mayans. Cenotes are sacred in the Mayan culture, they were used both for rituals and to relax.
If you visit Chichén Itzá between September 22 and 23, you can witness the equinox in the stepped pyramid of Kukulcán, which stands out for the play of light that casts shadows on each step to create the appearance of a descending serpent.

An amazing experience from the beggining. They were super helpful and kind, solving every question that we had and even giving us a few tips, also, they were kind enough to remind us of the pickup an hour before it . The tour was so much fun!, the guides were so clear explaining everything and even my kids had fun learning, they keep asking to go back, all in all an experience that you got to live at least once, and I'm totally comming back next year!
Now I understand why this is one of the wonders of the world!
