Most wine tours in Napa are led by wine and food enthusiasts, who, while passionate about gastronomy, have no actual training or background in the field. This tour will be wholly different than anything you can find in the valley, and will be a fun blend of educational insight and wining and dining ourselves in the heart of Napa. My goal is to create an easygoing environment where you feel comfortable to ask all the burning questions you've ever had about wine and how to match it to the right kinds of foods. After all, this is about culinary enjoyment!

Elisabeth is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly! She created a truly special experience for my party of 12, innovatively pairing some of my childhood favorite foods with wines for my birthday. Something I especially appreciate is that her knowledge of flavors extends beyond the “standard” Eurocentric palate that many wine experts are limited to.

Elisabeth was amazing! We had so much fun learning about the components involved in tasting wine and how that is impacted by food!! She also took us to a great little spot for lunch and encouraged us to try food we normally would not have chosen and ended up being our favourite place we had ate! Elisabeth is definitely very knowledgeable in wine and is a must-do at the beginning of your Napa trip to enjoy all the information and recommendations she can provide to you!

After our time with Elizabeth, we felt more comfortable in trying different pairings not not go with the "so called" accepted norms with food pairing. She debunked a lot of misconceptions and misinformation like white wine is for fish and red wine is for red meat.
Elizabeth was very friendly and extremely passionate about wines. We enjoyed exploring, experimenting and experiencing wine in a new light!
We started our time with Elizabeth at Benevolent Neglect and had our food pairing at Compline Restaurant--- both amazing choices!

We've been coming up to Napa for years but things finally really clicked after this experience with Elizabeth. She showed us the how-to's of eating and drinking and honestly we'll never look back.
The wine and pairings she provided were fantastic, and we felt really comfortable asking her any and all questions.

My parents were visiting me in the bay and we did a wine excursion up to Napa. This was the perfect experience, Elizabeth took us to fabulous places and my folks thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely think of her at our next dinner party!
